Little hint for plugging the cable back in instead of struggling there is a plate that comes off on the front of the scooter it's held in by 4 Cross head screws and when it's removed you can move the cable out so it has more freedom to plug it back in
@@dmitrylitvinov7328 yes if your fitting a tyre and tube. Try fitting a solid to a split rim. It's not an easy task. I'm showing you the best way possible without struggle.

Hi, great video and thanks. My son's impel will not charge and I am waiting for weeks for a replacement charger from Halfords. Have yo any suggestions, I am not 100% it is the charger that is the problem.

@@mkfixitscooters308 i think that's exactly what it is after doing some further inspection last night, 5his video has helped me gain the confidence to remove the back motor correctly.
Is it the same process for the is-2, also on the back wheel would it not make sense to leave the side wall of the tyre off to put the tyre back on as you did to take it off?

Great video - helpful for me as I have a flat tyre, so thank you. If I may add, the music is very distracting and not needed. If you can re-do the video without the music, it will improve this tutorial immensely.

Would have liked to see you try this with the original tire(stock). It's impossible to do with the inner tube in and the original tire. It does not have anywhere near the flex compared to the one in this vid. I soaked the tire in hot water for an hour but still cannot put it on.

I noticed the wheel hubs separate in half. Is it possible to put the solid tyres on by putting the tyre on one side of the hub and then screw the other side of the hub on. Or has the whole hub got to be screwed together before you put the solid tyre on . Much appreciated
Basically my steering stem rocks back and forth, it's either loose or bearings gone, not sure don't want to mess with it until i got a clear understanding of how to strip it down, thanks.... :)

The back wheel rim separates can I put the solid tire over it and then screw the other side in to make it easier ?

Solid is more rough but reliable. Air is always suggested from us for maximum comfort and range

If your fitting tube and tyre yes you would fit them while rim is apart still. Solid tyres are not so easy to do like this.

My scooter works fine for a couple of minutes then the rear wheel locks up and the screen freezes. Any idea what my issue is?
Try check rear motor connections is tight
When I took my back wheel off and reconnected it, once I turn it back on it’s beeps & no longer rides anymore, could you help me ?

If a pin is bent, can it be bent back out or has it broken?

You need to split the rim to replace the stock tube filled tyre. It's much easier than what we do here. Once the rim is split the tyre slips on.

As the Gotrax version has a 10" wheel, do you think trying a 10" solid tyre would work on the IS-1?
It will fit the rim yes but we can't confirm without trying it ourself if the frame, forks or mudguard will rub.

You can do this method but it is tricky
