  • If there was something you could do everyday to boost your focus and productivity, feel energized, reduce stress, sleep better, maintain a positive outlook, and support whole-body health, wouldn’t you do it? It’s for all these reasons, and more, that I consider meditation a foundational pillar to good health. I used to think I didn’t have time for meditation but now I know I don’t have time NOT to do it-it’s become that integral in helping me manage all of my other many responsibilities and passions. Since starting, I’m happier than ever, have found the love of my life, and my business is rocking.
Today, on The Doctor’s Farmacy Podcast, I talk to my good friend and personal meditation teacher, Emily Fletcher, about meditation for the modern world. Emily is the founder of Ziva, the creator of The Ziva Technique and regarded as a leading expert in meditation for high performers.

Thank you Mark and Emily! I am also a lapsed meditator even though that regular practice made me aware of a huge change I needed to make in my life. I did follow through with the change but I just haven't made the effort to get back to regular meditation. Now after hearing this I am going to learn Emily's technique and try to get back to daily meditation. Many thanks for getting me motivated again. Mark, your Doctor's Farmacy program has taught me so much! You are a great host and you allow your guests to have the spotlight to get their message to listeners.
    Best wishes to you both,
    Kelli, Lancaster PA

I really want to thank you guys. Its amazing, and I'm so grateful for living in a time where all of this information is right at our fingertips. In a very real way, you're trying to save people by doing these videos and that's extremely admirable. Cheers to you guys and anyone else reading this comment, I'm sending positivity your directions

I don’t understand the negative comments. Why do you even waste your time watching. No doubt there are things you practice that can be debated. Please refrain. Some need help in different arenas. This woman is beautiful, healthy & helpful. Who cares if she speaks fast. That’s trivial. This is so welcomed in a time when stress is at its peak. Why add stress. Be kind and just let it be. 😌

@@annacrider4084 I'm not sure where they came from! Haha kind of blind sided the video. But anyway, all love baby! You're exactly right Anna. We're all just taking it day by day, trying to not bump into many people while we make our own way. Don't give the negativity more time than it deserves. Have a wonderful day Anna :)

Joshua 1:8, Psalm 1:2, Psalm 19:14, Psalm 119:15, Psalm 104:34, Phillipians 4:8, Psalm 119:97 are just a few Bible verses that talk about the good things about meditation. You do need to guard your heart, but that is a daily practice that all believers need to do. I pray that everyone who meditates has their heart set on Jesus and puts all their faith in Him.

Meditation is a demonic practise and everybody who meditates know that they come in contact with "spirit guides" or "angelic beings" who "vibrate" on "higher frequency",and they have visions and lucid dreams, like i hade before i quited this occult practise...BIBLICAL MEDITATION IS FOCUING AND MEMORIZING BIBLICAL TEXT which have nothing to do with Budistic or Hinduistic meditation...U WILL LOSE YOUR SOUL MAN...GET OUT OF IT AND GO TO CHRISTIAN ORTODOX CHURCH AND PRAY TO JESUS!! GOD BLESS!!

😂😂😂😂 This may be extraordinarily impossible for you to see and understand but try to understand this. Meditation helped you know the truth you. You don't need an outside source, no religion you're everything everywhere at any time with no time. Your lovely Jesus, Buddha, Chrishna, prophet Mohammed all of them are not required for this one let it go. When you accept that you don't know you become a true sicker of the truth.

I listened to this podcast with an open mind to learn a little bit about Ziva style of meditation. But, all I got was mental masturbation. I understand meditation is helpful to the mind but how is Ziva different? Emily did not say anything about it. I felt like she wants the money first before she could teach you her style of meditation and let you a sample of her "special" style. Also, listening to the podcast made me feel like 45 minutes of sales pitch with no valuable information whatsoever. Emily is a very good sales person but this sales-y pitch over-promises and makes me more sceptical of her "special" style of meditation. Out of this 45 minutes of sales pitch, one good takeaway was to just sit down with your thoughts for 10 minutes even if you don't meditate. Apart from that, it is a waste of your time.

Please stop with this nonsense of defining mindfulness meditation as not being meditation. There are in fact many different forms of meditation each with their own benefits and you are simply selling one of those forms - at that, one which is less researched and therefore less proven than some of the others. Find the benefits you want to realize and pick the right tool for the job.
