As far as I know, and generally in such devices, the supply voltage is 3.3 volts and an smd regulator such as a 3.3 volt voltage regulator (for example AMS1117 3.3V) is used to provide this. Again in general this component is broken. Is it the 78L05 you are replacing, or any 3,3 volt regulator. Respects.

Not only one manufacturer in the market, both types 3.3v & 5v available, in my case 78L05
