That is a great looking feature ring Luie. Also a nice job of explaining and showing how it was done. Looking forward to see it on the completed project. Gary
While your not trying to give explicit details on how to do it. You do great work. I understand the fine line of liability thank you for really taking the time to show us how you do it. I've never made a segmented bowl but your videos give me ideas. Thank you.
Thanks for watching and commenting 👍😎 I feel my channel is more of an entertainment channel and not a how to. Although I have been known to throw in a few ideas and tips from time to time
Hi Luie... really cool feature ring... it's a lot larger than I was expecting.... that's going to be a big bowl or vase... great explanation and video... take care...All the best.....Andy
Nice feature ring. Looking forward to seeing the rest of the vessel. A couple of suggestions. Instead of using wax paper, get a cheap silicon baking sheet. Washable and reusable. Also, when cutting the segments, I always use a stop block so the pieces are consistently the same size. I also make a few extras just in case one doesn’t get cut right. Keep on turning!
Great feature ring, Luie, and awesome explanations. Someone else did one similar to yours recently and I think I like yours better. 😃😃😃 Looking forward to seeing the vessel you use it for! Nicely done, buddy!! 👍👍👍👍
Thanks for sharing, interesting process. I’ve only tried one segmented bowl. Considering, it turned out ok for my first attempt lol. Full View and Like 👍
Thank you so much Luie ... that was really kind of you .. I love the segmented idea and that feature ring will look stunning mate I definitely need to get a chart like that as I don't have the brain power to work out the angles lol 🤣 I cant wait to see this on a vessel mate ! Great job and thank you again
Awesome work Luie, so much effort. I do like how you glued the up and how accurate your cut were. I would have to do this by hand, so no thanks... So looking forward to what you do with this and how it comes out. Keep on turning. Cheers, Bluey 👍
Thanks for watching and commenting. Yeah I watched Gord's video while I was waiting for some glue to dry and thought look at that! Funny how that happens sometimes. Hope Gord is not upset with me 🤓🤔
@@spindlesworkshop9744 me too! Probably do a few videos out of the build steps, so next week will be the build and quick explanation, then walls and electrical/dust collection, then painting and setup/tour.

Thank you! I don't use anything around the house clamp. Are you talking about the wax paper underneath? I use that to keep the ring from sticking to the bench. Thank you so much for watching and commenting your support is greatly appreciated 👍😎
