Thanks for the video! I've been turning for years but just recently decided to try segmented projects. I'm still needing to build a jig to cut the segments. I have a couple peices of beautiful exotics but I wasn't too make sure I've got everything "dialed in" before I start cutting them.
Great video. I picked up a couple of tips I'll be using in my next segmented attempt. (#3) I'm fairly new to this process and would like to know how you cut the veneered pieces to thickness. Thanks.
Wonderfully concise instructions. No extraneous talk to distract from the vital content! Thanks
Well done video. Just enough chatter. Thank you for sharing. Have a great day and stay safe.🙂🙂

Are you concerned about changing grain direction when using veneer this way. Thanks.

Were the vertical veneers side grain or end grain? Typically you want all the grain running in the same direction
Ingenius!
Nice video! Did you use a drum sander for the sanding of the ultra thin segments or how did yu get it smooth?
How do you cut your veneer, the segments?
Ok
Great information, thank you.
