I love my God. Yesterday was a mess. Then in the evening someone in my home was listening to something with conspicuously foul language while I was trying to read the bible. I hid away… later a RUclips video was talking about knowing them by their fruits. I resolved to do a quick study before I slept on Christ’s teaching about false prophets: wolves in sheep’s clothing and Jesus says, beware- discern them! By their fruit you will know them. Do people pick grapes from thorn bushes or figs from thistles? (I’m paraphrasing from memory). A good tree can’t bear bad fruit. A bad tree can’t bear good fruit. I made my notes and observations. Then I sat with my son and watched a video about watercolour painting. A beautiful work (relaxing pianistic jazz in the background) but initially the loose sketch looked messy to my 8 year old but slowly took form… it took half an hour. At some phases it looked like a mess, but the artist knew what he were doing. I praise you Father Lord of heaven and earth! When I awake I am with you. I woke up this morning and here all of it is! The foul language I hid from. The good and bad trees. The rottenness I prayed God would help me to see and stop fooling myself about. The Lord, He is God! The Lord, He is God! Where are the gods of the nations who can do this? Where is the atheist to commend the untenable unlikeliness of co-incidence. There’s no God like Jehovah. Uphold me! Uphold me!
