- If the ski seems right for you find it here bit.ly/lineblade and you´ll support the channel at no extra cost on your side. We recently got to test a crazy new ski from Line skis called Blade. In this video, we run it through a few ski tests to see how it performs, test out the new design and consider whether it lives up to the marketing hype that has surrounded it since its announcement. An all-mountain ski with an emphasis on carving, this crazy ski is a hybrid between a playful freeride ski and an aggressive slalom ski. We were pretty surprised by its performance, what do you think?

"hard to find ice"
near me its hard to find anything but that 😂
You live on the east coast dont you😂
I feel that. Skiing in new mexico gets rough at times
I sent my first backflip on skis two days ago 😁😁
👏👏👏
Lorenzo COMMERGNAT hell of a lot easier than 360s imo
Nice👏👏👏👍🤘
@@sageenraged8879 personally I am a pretty good skier but it scares me to do some tricks... because my only phobia is broken bones ☹
I’m
Still tryna learn it on the trampoline
5:20 the nutcracker
I am always incredibly impressed by your ability to feel what the skis are doing and explain small differences. Being able to tell it is closer to your 15m radius ski and not your 13m slalom ski shows how much you are in tune with your gear.
Any halfway decent skier should be able to feel what their gear is doing in the same way
Oh god these look perfect for me! I've been a ski instructor for 3 years now, i've always used my park skies because i love freestyle and not really have the funds for 2 pairs :d
recently was looking for a new pair, i need these!
have fun paying that bill :)
DerMarm 69 half the price for ski instructors ;)

Lars Ehh you and me are the same person

I dare everyone to ride the lift like this and maintain constant eye contact with the person in front of you
Looks like a good pair of skis tbh, I would love to try them! Btw your videos are super cool and I learned a lot, thanks 😄🤘
Thanks for this honest Ski review! It helped a lot categorizing it better!
Great review! Why I waited so long... Oh, DUDE you freakin! RIP! Soooo smooth! I really enjoyed watching you crush on these skis! Thanks!
Watched your videos before skiing for the first time last week. Though I just went on green and fell a lot, was able to get to some level of parallel turns and had fun. Going to try and get better!
Keep at it! As your skill builds so does the fun!
nice! well done :)
@@johnreyn19 thanks. I might invest in the ski season pass and a pair of ski goggles as well
Bruce Wayne you don’t need to spend any more on the $30 for good goggles , i definitely recommend for snowy days
@@jasonwearsnogi5214 thanks. On the green slope I didn't feel as much need, but the wind did make me tear up a bit. Will see what fits over my glasses
Nice, honest review. Thanks - they're hard to find.
Exellent photography in the park jumps. Amazing shots!
🙏🏼🙏🏼
Thanks for the review. I can’t wait to try these. I have Nordica enforcer 100s right now that just don’t initiate tight enough turns for me. But I like the width.
For an on-piste carving ski, it's hard to beat traditional camber, deep sidecut, and less than ~80mm underfoot.
True it ain't beating that on carving performance.
Seriously thank you for making these videos jence your a good dude
Oh also thanks for all these videos. They are awesome!
The way you shot the tricks with the camera following right beside you was so cool!
;)
both your drone and follow shots are so good in this bid.
Thanks dude!
You're a cool cat. Great video and sweet tricks. Huge inspiration to me.
I like whatever reviews you do.
Love the 180 on the button lift.
Ice cold my brother
very interesting concept! i like the idea of 100mm wide twin tips with more of an emphasis on carving, e.i. a short turn radius
I have the Line sick day 94 and they’re great
Ski edit at the start was nice
I’m from Switzerland and i love Laax and it’s awesome.
That steeeeezy lil daffy 180 though 😍
Could you please test a new Full Tilt boot, preferably the "Classic PRO"? Thanks and keep up with the good work!
Nice video, will you do more videos like this?
Very interesting. Thank you.
Due fan kungens kung på skidor👑
You make it all look good...like your how to videos!!!
Hey Jens thanks a lot for reviewing the Line Blades! Those skis look pretty sick but I think they’ve exaggerated a little bit with those shovels. I’m looking forward to see how the new Armada Declivity series works!
hey, stomp it can you please make a vid on cork five-forty. I have been struggling with it and would love some help.
Love to see more ski reviews video possible🥺 I'm wondering if you have recommendations for just pure carving ski ? Like narrow . Currently I have 76FX Salomon but love to hear your feedback
I’m curious, how would the handle in pow?
Do you think they would be good in some Powder, Like Not dumping much but a descent amount?
I don’t have snowpark in my country or anywhere near I live so that’s kinda sad I would love to be in snowpark even if once in my life time . Hopefully I will manage to go in one . Till then I’ll keep watching your videos ❤️ . ( sometimes once in a year in winter I make small ramps and try basic tricks of them 360s 180s )
wow nice turns man
Hey, could you guys do a video on how to make progression easier because I don’t know where to go from 3s butters and mutes.
You should do a video on tricks you can do on ski lift/button tow/T-bars
Your videos are the best! I would love to see you review some powder skis (
Either way sounds too wide for a daily driver, unless you only get blower powder where you ski.
How does this ski compare to the Rossignol Black Ops Holyshreds/98's? I've been considering those, but these seem to fit my needs quite well too
What size did you try them ? And how tall are you ?? Thanks for help. Nice Review 🙏🏽
What are these beautiful videos Filmed on I just can’t😍😍
Filmed on Sony ;)
Great review, I like your green & black jacket what brand is it from?
LOVE your content!!!! How would these perform in tight chutes that are in the shade and icy?
I dont think thats perfect for this ski.
@stompittutorials, if you want a more well-rounded directional ski at the 100m underfoot - checkout the Blizzard Rustler 10's. Great one-ski quiver
From what brand is your yellow jacket? I'm looking for a new one myself.
I want a pair; huge line chronic fan
They seem ungainly. "Who is this ski for?" Seems like a really good question for these skis. Personally, I'd like to see more twin tip skis that are symmetrical but also fat enough to handle powder well. Like, a powder/park ski that could truly handle skiing switch in the powder and on the steeps.
it is definitely not a park ski
"I would like to have them" says every skier ever
Try the Sakana 181! So much fun!
Jens, what you asked for at the end of this video is close to the k2 Sights: Measure (Tip/Waist/Tail): 116/88/110 mm; Turning radius: 19.50 m Weight: 1929 gram (179 cm). Boot center is 3.5cm behind true center.
Everything line produces is absolutely phenomenal 👌🏻
But it also breaks a lot too quickly.
@@ChickenKhorma yeah they don't hold up
Just bought new boots (K2 Mindbender 130) and Skis (Line Sir Francis Bacon). Next step another pair of skis, probably Stöckli GS. Just something for some days with non-freestyle/powderish friends onthe slopes and maybe some racing...
Hello! Very nice work and perfect tutorials, keep it up! Im 1,73 cm and more of an expert level, do you recommend the 169 or the 177? Not only for these, but i have the same doubt about other pair i like witch is versatile too, the fsher ranger 94 fr... what do you think? Thank you a lot!
im not a professor but since you are really good at skiing, i do not think that 4cm length difference will matter, i would recommend the 177cm skis. Only my opinion.
I'd love to see a review of Nordica Enforcer 88 or Head Kore 87 !
Any chance you’ve reviewed the Head Kore X series I have the 90x personally
Can you test the K2 Reckoner 122 they are really good powder skis
How is it in comparison to the Vantage 90 Ti?
Jens, have you tried the Mirus Cor from Black Crows? Very carvy but more of a true twin tip than the Blade - might perform better in the park.
You gotta be the coolest dude and the smoothest skier ever bro your sick I strive to ski like u man love what u do would love if u gave me some pointers on one of my vids
Have you tried the Nordica Enforcers?? thoughts?
I just can't get over the look of the tail of the ski. I'd be really nervous riding switch on them.
Can you compare the Line Honeybadger (2021), the Faction CT 2.0 (2021) and K2 sight(2021)?
Thanks for the vid! You've mentioned you have a pair of X9. I am thinking of buying 19-20 x9s, what are your thoughts on the ski?
It's a fantastic carving ski but I prefer an even shorter radius like my S9 s
@@StompItTutorials what height have you tested? I am 195 and 90kg, but always went for shorter Head Supershapes. Now i am thinking about 181 for x9s.
Man I wish they made these longer
With such huge shovels how'd they do off piste? They seen like they could be a carver/powder ski.
Review the blackops sender ti!
I have the Salamon BBR's which is very similar design ("hammerhead" shape, short radius), and they're decent off piste. The big head helps keep the tips up, but overall it's still a compromise. Does off-piste better than any narrow carver, and does piste better than any fat ski. I think a good ski design for people who can carve but also venture off-piste, and don't want to switch equipment.
@huhhman They'd be hooky if the tips/tails were similar width. That's partly why these and the BBR's are made with much larger tips than tails. That creates a geometry where the tails are pretty square instead of shaped from above. Also people who can't handle some degree of edge engagement probably shouldn't be skiing off piste anyway.
Hit my first ever jump yesterday! It was on stiff carving skies though, so that was not perfect. Could you make a video on skies for beginner freestylers?
Bente Huizinga Look for twin tips that are fairly soft and are about as tall or a little shorter than you are. You also have to figure out whether you want an all mountain freestyle ski or a pure park ski.
Blister reviews and Newschoolers both have very in depth reviews on most skis that have come out if you want specific information.
There already is a wide twintip with a short radios, the line chronic 2020, 95mm wide with a 16m radius. I will receive them Saturday 😁

Hi i really like your videos, like i understand way more watching your videos than the others when seeing different kinds of videos about learning to ski or learning to do some tricks as a intermediate skier. Wondering if you could do a video about what size skis beginner/intermediate/advanced should use when free styling. Cheers :)
Hi! Can you please do a review of the Armada Strangers? Would really like to see them in action, thanks! 😎
great vid
Would be interesting to hear you talk about light freetouring skis!
Thanxs
Please do a review on the volkl mantra m5's or revolt 86's ♥
Can you review the new ski shoes that you strap onto your boots and it's like you're ice skating?
Have you skied the Mirus Cor black Crows?
How would they hold up vs the K2 Mindbender?
Jens could you please do a more direct comparison between the blades and the BC100 which looks like your daily driver? Interested in any big differences in flex
They are seriously different. Watch the review I made on top 3 allmountain skis and you'll get a feeling for it.
Can you do a review on best rail skis
Hi ... how long those skis are? thx
Feels really similar to the Venturi 95 in the old head heli series
how do they perform in icy and hardpacked conditions?
Would you review the K2 244 ?😀
How does this compare to the Sakana? I have the Sakana and love them for off piste. I'm looking for something playful for when it's a groomer day.
Nate Doggett if you’re looking for something playful from line, the entire sick day lineup is a good choice in my opinion
Jetta bra video. Gör att jag vill åka till Laax
Always a dope ass cameraman!
Do you know where to get them in Switzerland?
you can order them probably, they located in the states however.
Cool, but am sticking with the Wunderstick from LIBtech... :) nothing beats the magne-traction on ice.
Have the Wrecks and Wunderstick. Great skiis.
I know I'm nowhere near your guy's skill level but I am striving for I hope you all are safefrom this illness and it would literally make my year seeing a comment from you on my latest ski video ♥️
I am skier from South Korea. and I am an instructor who is planing to go Japan for ski trip. I am looking for one all mountain carving ski just like Line Blade. but seems like Black crows mirus cor also could be an option which one is better? *I stay most of the time in Korea and ski abroad once a year no powder in Korea only packed on piste and ice and slushy in spring
What size was tested in this video? Maybe I missed it?
jens pleas test the k2 mindbender 90 ti
Have you tried any of J Skis’ skis?
Do you have a oneplus 7 pro?
how are they in the bumps???
Aren’t these all-mountain skis? Can you ski powder with them?
5:16 neat trick
Nice skiing, Jens! Wonder how these would ski in powder.
The shovels are huge, they probably plane pretty well
Check out the Line Skis Sir Francis Bacon. I think you would like them
