    Thanks for the great review. For me, the Bent Chetler is the perfect "one quiver" ski. You can have fun everywhere, from park to pow and even light touring. However, I do think that the Bent Chetler is actually a bit better Off-Piste than you mentioned. Maybe not for the deepest of the deep days but 80% you will have more fun with the 100 compared to the 120.

      Are the tips and tails “poppy/springy” or slightly soft. I’m in WI, and have been eyeing up the new 21’ Prodigy 1.0 at 176. The 2.0 for me would be too wide, all groomer use for me, little bit of trees, bumps, bombing runs, etc. would love your feedback on the prodigy please! I debating about Armada ARV 86 vs Prodigy 1.0. Can they hold an edge well enough or is there too much rocker in tip and tail, any chatter at speed? Thanks!

    What is with the blurry base graphic? I've seen a lot of base graphics... none are blurry except this one. And it's not blurry enough for effect... it's like someone upscaled a graphic and didn't know that ruined the resolution. Minor complaint that shouldn't affect you buying it... but it's weird....

One more question about that: Which bindings do you recommend for the BC 100? Is Atomic/Salomon Warden 13 an option that makes sense? Or are there other bindings that you´d recommend to somebody who skies quite well (nearly 30 years by now), gets 20-30 ski days a season and now intends to get more seriously about freeriding (with good chances of trying to land my first 180/360 before if the old bones allow it ;) )?

Im 178cm and 78kg, 41yo and fit intermediate/advanced, so the 180cm skis will be a few centimeters to long for me.. ( I ski the old QST 92 in size 177cm (2017) now, they are alright when I ski the groomers but a little bit too long in the trees for my level of skiing - a lot of skiing close to the groomers with my kids but not on the piste! ). The 180cm feels like they are 5cm too long in my opinion. Are 172cm way too short for me? Greetings from Göteborg!

    hi I would like to buy the bent chetcler 100. I am 172 cm 67 kg and I cannot choose the size of the skis between 164 cm and 172 cm what is your advice? I ski more on the slopes than in powder and I try to venture more off-piste. Thank you in advance for your answer.

    @Stomp it tutorials I am looking to get those in 172 size and am a little unsure what bindings to put on these. I have been mostly a on piste skier so far, but am looking to get into the powder and try to learn some freestyle. Any specific bindings you could recommend for mosty slopes but also to feel safe in powder and jumping?

    hey i want to get a new pair of skis with a shift binding, and right now im deciding between the bent chatler 100 or 120. I want to use the ski as an powder/ touring ski wiht main focus on the skiing not the hike up. Whats your opinion on that? Or would you go with somthing compleet different?

    • @kurky1487

      I would definitley go for the 100s ,because 120s would be shitty if it is whorse snow coditions. But I am not that experienced so do not take my opinion that serious.

    Hi, I am 178 cm and weigh about 72 kg. I ski since I was 5 and I am now 23, so I have some experience on the mountain. I think I am more like an all mountain guy who likes to go carving but still be playful off pistes on small jumps and bumps. What length would fit mze best 172 or 180. Thanks for the video review.

    • @jp4431
      @jp4431 4 года назад

      Wouldn't 100mm underfoot be too wide if you prefer carving? My understanding is that 90mm +/-5 is your sweet spot

    • @thibaultjanssens3709
      @thibaultjanssens3709 4 года назад

      The ski I have at the moment is 97 under foot. And it is not only for carving, I like to be playful on my skies, it is like he said an to do anything ski for the mountain, more an all mountain ski
      I am just wondering what length would fit me best.

      @@thibaultjanssens3709 180 will be trickier for tight trees and bumps, but you lose flotation with 172. There's no one right answer. The kinds of terrain you want to ski should dictate the ski length.

    I'm 6'1 and 200 lbs, intermediate-advanced. Would you say the 180 is too short? I have the 120 in 184 so I'm wondering if the 180 is too short and I should get the 188? Thanks!

    • @bretts7037
      @bretts7037 2 года назад

      @@looseaxles Bought a set of the new QST 106 in 189 LOL. Overall I tend to prefer a ski that is on the "shorter" end than my stature would point me towards, but skis like the Bent Chetlers and QST have so much tip and tail rocker they both end up being more maneuverable than the longer length would suggest.
      If you tend to play it safe or aren't super agile for trees or moguls, and don't like to charge super hard, go with a shorter length.

      @@bretts7037 I‘m also 6’1 and bought myself the 180 because I like my skies a little more maneuverable, too. Currently not sure where to mount the bindings tho. I wanna get into jumps and tricks but at the same time still have decent allmountain ski so i’m thinking between +4 to +5 from rec. Any experience with that?
