This is the first demo I see that cranks it all the way up, using the 2 channels, and without turning it into a 10 minute blues recording, or a 45 minute masterclass about fiddling knobs from nine to noon, without even switching both sides on, and then after one hour I still don't know the pedal's full potential. Most reviews don't even utilize the pots/switches inside. There's several dipswitches as well as 2 trimpots to adjust treble. I own some Demonfx already and they are bang for the buck. I'm more of a high gain freak, but based on your video and because I can get it on a discount now, plus I also hoard gear, I'm gonna order this king thing today and am sure I'll have a lot of fun with it. Thanks mate!
Have a KOT orriginal. Great pedal. I think I like the Mosky Silver Horse as much. No 4 year wait and a lot less $$. Analog Mike is a wizard on that circuit. This is an interesting addition. Great playing and good demo.
Thanks heaps, it is a pretty good pedal, I woke up this morning and Im thinking did I miss something with the dip switches, I think I didn't look at it properly and just flicked a gain switch and not actually change the type of clipping
@@gearhoarders8823 the left switch/channel should be your clean boost and right the OD in factory settings from what I remember. What's cool about this pedal though is it has the high gain switches for both channels unlike some other KOT clones, which will give you more overall gain. The dipswitches basically let you pick what "mode" each footswitch/channel is in (clean/OD/distortion respectively).
@@Theability83 thanks, I rushed making the videos, I had filmed in a few months, this is jam jam room so my filming gear isn't setup all the time, I'll have to redo this pedal again, I have to 68 pedals version also, but it can make strange sounds, I had a prince of tone by analog man and I stupidly sold it... I liked that the dip switch was a toggle on the outside, now I use the jhs morning glory has my blues breaker pedal, I do have to say that the marshal origin 50 amp head is like a blues breaker amp when cranked
@@leonruvalcaba1549 this was maybe four years ago. I placed my name and waited two years I believe. I received an email from them, that I was on the next shipment. I kept it for about year. But it never stayed on my board. I sold it on reverb for much more. That was not my initial intent. But I play only in my basement at low volumes. Maybe if I played loud venues, maybe the outcome would not have been the same.

This is my favorite offering I’ve personally tried from demonfx out of the handful of them I’ve owned. Nice review.
