I love when you vlog your trips. You are one of the few flight attendants who aren't afraid to walk around and vlog. Most of the others just sit in their hotel rooms and tell you about all the trips they did.
Don't you love those FA videos where they're sitting in the most generic hotel room, and halfway through they'll say "I'm in _____" and it literally could be anywhere?! Even some of the international ones will say they're in some super exotic city and the room still looks like Phoenix or Boston or Atlanta or anywhere!
@@CallieMasters5000 Hi Callie. I'm a FA and many of the hotels that we layover in are generic ! A few times after a long day, I had to look at a note pad in the room to tell where I was ! LOL! Not all of are hotels and trips are that glam. Many of the hotels are international chains so they are generic.

@@anndiane4904 Thanks Ann for the reply. Have you seen the short lived TV series " Pan Am " ? It was interesting to follow the lives of a 707 aircrew. Do you know if they kept crews together , for the most part, like they did in that series?
I am sorry that Pan Am did not last to the year 2001. Do you know why, haha or are you too young to remember? In the Stanley Kubrik film " 2001: A Space Odyssey " ( 1968 ) they used a Pan Am Space Clipper to travel from earth to the Space Station in orbit.

@@Bill23799 I did see " Pan Am ". It depends on the airline. Sometimes we would stay with the same crew but if you were the add FA, you might fly with different crews. International flights usually stay together. Sometimes you would get different Pilots on Intl. flights. Domestic flights you change Pilots often.

Fruit in the morning would be a good idea. Apple, Banana, Orange, Grapes because they don't have to stay cold. Put in your bag and it goes through security. Salad with dinner so you get some veggies.

I love how you included the part about our role in medical emergencies, I've been flying for 2 years now and have had about 5 or 6 medical emergencies/situations! Also the pizza at 7 AM was awesome lol.
5 or 6 already?! Yikes! I am fresh out of FA training and get a little anxious when thinking about medical emergencies. Haven't had any yet, but I'm sure I will! Pizza is awesome at anytime, right?! :)

You are totally right saying FA's are the first responders on the flight. People looking down on others because they think they have the "fancier" job are my pet peeve anyway. I am thankfull for the waiter/waitress on the ground serving me food and drinks so even IF (!) you were doing nothing else there still wouldn't be any reasing to belittle the work.
There is no country on earth where a plane is allowed to take off without FA's on board so obviously you are pretty essential for air travel.
Stella the hardest part of loosing weight is just sticking to a healthy diet, getting away from all the process foods, is a way of life. We all get into the routine of just doing what we are use too, takes about 21 days to break habbit. I hope that overall you feel great and hope you find your way to a healthy life as a flight attendant. Love all your videos...Thank you!
There was an awful story about a lady falling on her metal straw over here in the UK....😔 Can't see one now without thinking about it! Rather go entirely straw free now just in case! Well done on the medical emergency! Nice to know we have help up there should we need it! 😊 ❤️

Did you know that in the 1920s, at the very start of passenger travel in planes, people were scared to fly because the technology was so new.
The airline companies reassured passengers that it was safe to fly by only hiring retired RN nurses to be the first flight attendants. No chance of a medical emergency being ignored with an RN on board.
I learned this while watching a documentary on the birth of passenger travel by plane on the HISTORY channel. I like the fact that my sattellite tv lineup includes the HISTORY channel.

Flying is for the young. At 59 I am over it. Had 14 hour travel day from Ca to Florida both ways. Paid $4 for a small bottle of water in the airport. On Southwest I have never had a flight attendant like you. I hear them complain about their hours and lack of pay. So glad to be home. I felt like with all that travel I should have been in Hawaii.. lol

Stella!! I recommend YSL's Tatouage Couture Matte Stain if you're looking for a red.. I have THE dryest lips! And these stains work for me. Aside from these, I can only use Chanel gloss, Charlotte Tilbury lipsticks, and Bobbi Brown gloss and lipstick. Everything else eventually dry my lips.
They have amazing floors at that airport. I made hand-carved stamps based on the ocean life creatures. I use them in my artwork.

Read about Intermittent fasting, I work nights and days, very different hours, and IF helps me loose weight, I don't need to think what to buy, what to eat, I just think WHEN TO EAT.
I started with 8h eating window, now I do 4h, I hope I will manage to do OMAD version soon.
Try it, its perfect for ppl with irregular work hours.
For me, I just eat in the evening, if I work night, I eat before night shift.
if I work morning, I eat at home after work. if I do afternoon shift, I eat at work -- i just eat in the evenings. Rest of the day I drink a lot of coffee :)

Best red lipstick I’ve ever tried is Chanel duo ultra tenue in “daring red”. It doesn’t dry out my lips, lasts all day, and and doesn’t come off on cups, food, etc. see Michele wang’s video review where she does a muckbang and it stays on. Since trying them, I don’t want to use anything else. 😀

I fit in my seat but I am plus size. Flew Air Canada the stewardesses completely ignored me during drink service and when we deboarded they made me do a lap around the plane before they let me off. You know I am completely healthy besides some vision issues and more fit than lots of my friends. I was just shocked.
