To be honest I think that the bloop would look very different compared to what we think it would look like especially if it were to make the infamous bloop sound.
In all honesty it's just a flub of recording equipment that people want to attribute to some fantastic sounding creature to distract them from the boring reality they find themselves in. Iceberg crash makes the most sense since the size of those things varies greatly, and the lack of it repeating throughout the years means it's impossible for it to be a creature. But I don't do realism, I do absurd comedy. So, he's a creature here.

Yup! Though he's actually made of Breakfast themed foods. He was in an earlier skit, his name is BreakFish. Since, you know, that sounds like breakfast. So he's got pancake fins and hashbrown body and a tail made of toast. Nobody ever figures out that his tail is half a slice of toast, though, lol.

Funny thing about Helicoprion is that its not even a true shark. It had evolved enough to no longer be considered a "true" shark. This also goes with some other fish that look like sharks like Edestus (which is also related to the Helicoprion) and -based- Stethacanthus. Now, if they're not sharks then what are they then? Well, they could be classified as ancestors of chimereas/ ghost sharks but imo theyre kind of their own order or smth.
It's funny, because I'm literally working on a cartoon that brings up this exact fact. It was a flub on my part, but I like what I'm doing with the fact in the script so I'm happy with it. Even if it's inaccurate!
