You ever want to learn about Bloop's origins? What about his future evolutions? What about a bunch of ridiculous jokes involving Dunkleosteus, Coelacanth, and cell biology? Then this is the cartoon for you!
You guys, I haven't had THIS much fun in awhile. You have all seen those stupid Bloop Evolution videos, the ones that steal other artists' Bloop animated segments (MINE INCLUDED) and put stupid time stamps on them, acting like they're all pieces of a timeline in order to steal millions of views from the original artists. Bloop Evolution through the years or whatever. So I'm making fun of that concept, but taking it in two different directions. First one being the actual thought of Bloop's evolution, poking fun at how I animate him and design him. The second being when Bloop's rambling at the end about the aforementioned Bloop Evolution videos.
Making this cartoon was another beast entirely. Basically, all I had written was the basic parts and the ending rant. The Coelacanth, Dunkleosteus, and all of mini-Bloop's quips were improv I added after I was well into making the cartoon. I must've made a dozen additions to the script while making it, it was so damn annoying. I'm really glad I added them, of course, as it feels much more complete. Also all the random Bloop evolutions at the end caused Flash to lag, BAD. Took hours to open the file by the last day of working on it.
Took roughly two weeks of work to pull off. Granted, I was slowly working on the first minute while finishing up the "Dream of Memes" episode, then this past week I've been working hard on making this one. I was expecting to be done with it early, but of course with all the extra jokes I stuffed into this one, that didn't end up happening.

I love how there's so little continuity in this series that the individual videos contradict themselves. It says Bloop evolved the ability to speak at 1:41 but the cell it evolved from started speaking at 0:24.
Well, I hardly consider this factual in any way anyway, just me having fun with the idea. He even states that Bloop developed eyes "eventually", so clearly the one narrating (Bloop) has no actual idea what happened at any point in time. It's just a fun thing to ponder

The evolution rant from the bloop and the Godzilla bloop showing up was something. I’m always going through RUclips seeing catering kaiju stuff being recreated by thousands of people, it’s not retelling it’s stealing.
And there's never any real thought put in. Just "We put them in to use some dumb powerup or ability", and it's just a lame abilities showdown. Not that I'd expect storytelling when catering to children who only want spectacle, especially since they're too young to know what spectacle ACTUALLY is.

It was definitely modeled after him. Just figured it'd be funny if prehistoric Bloop had his own Goblin Shark-like pest of a friend to have to deal with.
This video was really interesting to watch. I like how you showed the different stages of Bloop's evolution stages if he were an actual creature. It was really well done. I loved the part at the end where Bloop talked about people giving Bloop certain random ass features and calling it evolution when you are just adding things to it. And I like how you spend time making several bloops from those videos like the Infected Bloop, Godzilla Earth Bloop, and a Spongebob Bloop ( I think?) it was a great decision. Thanks for making this maybe those people who make those videos will see this and will stop making weird and random bloops.
I mean, they'll likely make those mind numbing versions as long as they have viewers show up and watch them. Which is pathetic, but that's the business. I just hold my own content to a higher standard, so unless the idea makes me laugh personally, I'm not doing it. And I tend to hate reusing old jokes (at least exactly as it was told previously, joke references are okay as long as the angle is unique), so it's never going to be a "Oh, now Bloop has lasers. Now Bloop has lasers but OUT OF HIS EARS THIS TIME. Oh, lets do lasers OUT OF HIS FINS. Hey gang, what if Bloop had lasers in his ARMPITS?!" Or this whole 'role swapping' thing, where Bloop has Megalodon power and Megalodon has Bloop power, or now everyone's copying some other popular character for no reason. Unless the joke warrants such a thing and is unique, it has no place simply existing. It's the worst kind of fan service since it's typically so damn thoughtless. Just slap a fresh coat of paint on him and it'll sell to people who want a cheap thrill.
@@Bobert-Rob It's the sad truth. But you Bobert are the only one out of all RUclipsrs who actually produces and makes quality content based around the bloop. All channels that make Bloop content that either make boring fights will Bloop fighting against other giant monsters, make horrible new bloops that are ugly and dumb, or steal people's videos and make them into timelines. None of your videos are low effort they all have something unique about them. The humor is great, the animation is great, and the characters are great. Even when you do decide to stop making bloop videos I'm sure you will be remembered for years to come as the best bloop content creator ever. So just be yourself don't change your style and keep up the great work.
I mean the godzilla earth bloop by pandy wasn't supposed to be a evolution of bloop it was just supposed to be godzilla earth and bloop combined not a evolution (also pandy does videos like that too just kiju in general literally his first video was a godzilla combined with some random kaiju)

Hey, Rob, I have a concept for you to poke fun at, this one is called, Bloop Hybrids, basically what would Bloop look like if he absorbed other sea monster dna, so I had three Bloop hybrids in mined, Carcharobloop (A hybrid of Bloop and Megalodon), Bolia (a hybrid of Bloop and Julia Beast), and Bloopeel (a hybrid of Bloop and El Gran Maja).
I'm not looking for more characters to shove into the series. I could complain about it and explain it yet again, but I doubt it'll actually make sense to you if you haven't gotten it by now.

Yeah, I know a few fans who will be stoked that I finally included Dunkleosteus. He was one of the late additions to the script, but when I realized the opportunity I had after adding Coelacanth, I had to pounce on it.

Considering this is a flashback (that's YOUNG Coelacanth, hence the dialog), I would say no. if you mean does he remember him from his childhood, he changes quite a bit. Also, it's not explicitly stated it's the same fish, seems more like a reference like the Multicellular hydra with Goblin Shark's voice was. It'd be hard to believe a single fish could be hundreds of millions of years old.

Precisely! I have no idea how having turrets would help a creature's biology. Spitting venom? Sure. An AK-47? Not so much. Reloading a gun on a creature is well beyond what we should expect a giant monster to take care of. Rule of cool is just a load of garbage, so people need to stop using the word Evolution if they aren't actually putting thought into it.

It was actually a future prediction. I hadn't written the script for the cartoon yet, but I had fans who wouldn't stop requesting I do the character. So this was my way of making a joking reference to the character. Hardly anybody caught on at the time though.

The series itself is set in modern times. Granted, you can't tell due to most of it happening in water, but when it shows the humans, they make modern references to recent events. This evolution video's just a silly bit of nonsense, though.

I just think it's a fun concept to toy around with. Everyone lives to improve, so of course a species over time is going to memorize patterns and adjust their bodies to the changes of their environment. Otherwise fossils would all be completely different every couple hundred years and then people would be REALLY confused.

If I think of a reason for it to happen, or a fresh joke that works for the character. But frankly, every commenter has a different character request, so I can't please everybody. I can't keep bringing new characters into the forefront without ignoring old ones. So some of these will just have to settle for one or two appearances. Still, I make it up as I go, so that could easily change. I was able to include him here well enough, anyway.
