I had a white 98 db8 gsr..and always wanted the Jackson kit with your intercooler. That was the bees knees back in the day...gotta run a b20 crank pulley for all the boost.
I had tons of fun back in the day with my GSR with a Jackson on it. I had an very early Hondata that I bought from Kenji. We meet a the great subs in New Port Richey and I paid him in advance for a p28, harness and hondata. Only knew him by reputation. Tuned it myself with RC310 cc injectors. I think it made 205 on 6psi and close to 230 on 9. Miss that car.
@LHTPerformance You did the clutch on that car. Ordered it from Cory when he worked at AE and they put the wrong disc in the box. I ended up running a 4 puck because that was all he had in stock.
Ok, I think i've been properly motivated to finish up my JRSC install on my Integra now! Between this, the Bert hatch, and that super clean EM1 JRCS install you guys did, I have plenty of inspiration to keep playing in the background while I finish up.
the rear support bar sucks if you try to install it last, I cut the bottom of mine open so I could put it over the lower bolt as I couldn't get the bolt out without taking the whole deal apart again. assuming it mostly pushes down on the bar vs pulls it
how tight is too tight with the normal pulleys? i hand tighten with a ratchet until the effort significantly increases, can still turn both belts atleast 90 degrees. dont wanna ruin my bearings. also do you know a replacement that works for the bypass hose or what inner diameter it should be? i slightly pinched mine and band-aided it for now with wider clamps pushed close together, saw 8.2 psi with 3.8 pulley and stock gsr crank tonight after messing with it
Is there an intercooler kit for the d series from you guys? i have some customers wanting to use the jackson racing supercharger on their d16's. also, does griptec have pulleys i can use with a kraftwerks kit? or would i be able to send my pulleys to them to get them coated?
Not in a while but the main part being the B series needing the counter rotating blower. It would require a large commitment for the volume needed to get started.
Do you recall Endyn's jrsc build with modified supercharger internals and porting? It seems like he was claiming some unbelievably high hp, and so many people were calling bs on the claim. Have you had any experience with his sc mods?
I did a lot of supercharging and Intercooler builds. I did try a ported supercharger also. Let just say I made more power with a stock blower. 308whp and 212tq back in the day. I made my own 5 rib setup and many custom parts.
@@LHTPerformance LoL. Hey, I'm just happy to see you still around and still developing for the JRSC stuff! I'm slowly getting a friend to come around on selling me his kit
I have a 2000 GSR motor with jsckson racing made 200hp in 2006 . Also i have D seris kit Made 157hp , 124 TQ with Z6 motor with A6 piston since that dyno i have installed Zex 59300 . has more power but have not dyno yet going to install Hytech header before i dyno. My new project is E92 M3 with built L92 engine.
The B-series JRSC sounds do good! I miss seeing all the videos of these back in the day.
The nostalgia factor is high on this vid. Nice.
Wow I was talking to a friend saying the the only ones that can do this the right way and parts are LHT and look new video pop up gonna share to him 😮
Beautiful GSR!!! Thanks for sharing and bringing back fond memories
Super fun build , it's going to be a fun ride . Great job guys
the skunk2 pro 2 cams work really really good with JRSC AND GSR BLOCK with b20 crack pulling

I know Kenji. He did a lot of working for us many years ago. I still talk to him today. 👍🏻

Brings back so many memories, my jrsc em1. I miss that car
Man this is a such a good throw back car, so clean and proper sounds!
Such an iconic time piece. Love it.. cars beautifully done. Simple and with y’all’s power kit.. those are impressive numbers!

Awesome work as always, thanks for sharing your experience.
Thanks for the kind words 🙏
So cool to see a JRSC getting some modern day love!
We have more coming in. Keep an eye on the channel. 👍🏻
“I don’t want any part of that” “I don’t want to do it twice” ah yes words of experience in that
JRSC videos always worth a watch
wow what a power curve!
John, that supercharger whine reminds me of the sound of a Hewland gearbox with straight cut gears (yes, I'm old☺)...
Awesome vid guys! 👍
I love this channel
I wish a company would remake those GSR blade wheels in larger sizes.

Like always you guys do amazing work 🙌🏼
🙏
Would like to pick up that JRSC for B18 you mentioned at the end of the video. Can you connect?

It looks like you re-installed the strut bar backwards. It was in the stock position at the start of the video.
F yeah! 👍

When will the MAP adapters be available?
John, does griptech make oem replacement pullies for the S2000 ?
No. There’s no real need as the factory pulleys don’t have excess load requiring them to
Have you ever spoken with Jackson to see if they would reproduce this kit?
Not in a while but the main part being the B series needing the counter rotating blower. It would require a large commitment for the volume needed to get started.
@@LHTPerformance That makes sense. I would love to run your aftercooler kit, but it sucks I have to install it with a 20 year old supercharger kit.
Is the manifold you removed for sale?
Do you NEED the LHT Throttle body kit to properly install the JRSC? Or can I use another aftermarket TB?
You need to’GSR style ‘ throttle body and cable.
@@LHTPerformance Gotcha, I'll add it on my "to make sure" checklist
TVS blower would be a great setup if there is still a market.
It’s need to be counter rotation for the B motor.
@@LHTPerformance gotta B different.

I recall. Something like custom carbon rotors inside the blower unit. Made 400 plus
@@Just_Jesus_ef Yep. I remember that , I also tried to buy it. I think rocking horse poop may be easier to get. 😉

@@LHTPerformance haha!
Have you ever data logged the supercharger coolant temps?
You refering to the IATs ? Yes. Lots and lots of Data
@@LHTPerformance No supercharger IC water temps
@@hoopla1414 Not on this one. IATs were 115-120F. Water temp depend where you read it.
Do you offer the intercooler mod for the D series SC?
Yes.
How did you get 375 hp on your Hatch?
This set up with a better header. It never made 375. The supercharger head unit can only move enough cfm for around 335bhp

Very clean gsr, just needs a better exhaust to open it up some, it is to quiet.. But super good job on the install.
There’s no power in the exhaust. It needs a better header.
@@LHTPerformance header and exhaust just for a little more sound.. but I love the set up, super clean.

Intake temps ?
@@SavageZR1 12:42 ?
Niiiiice!
Here me out.... interchiller setup!
All this for a whopping 200hp 160tq
Where did you get those numbers from 🤷♂️
