I am surprised that people can look at this young man and not see his beautiful spirit shining through. I hope he and his family thrive ♥

I was born and raised in Japan. Yes Tatoo was only for mafia members until recently. Now days , I see a few young people who have lived in USA, Yoga teacher or musicians have a small tattoo but it’s still rare. It’s just a different culture compare to USA.

It's not just that he has tatoos. The imagery presented in those tatoos is quite.. yakuza remenacent. If he had nornal tatoos, with idk some writing on his arm or whatever it would be ok but on his head.. that's what is shoking people

I've had so many friends and family members with tattoos that I don't see a person for their tattoos. It's so normal that it's as normal as a print on someone's t-shirt.

I was more interested in his baldness. What do japanese think about guys shaving their head?

His tattoos don`t even look like those of Yakuza. They`re much more simple, like generic western stile ones that don`t really mean anything. I guess people think they know the subject because they read something about it on facebook once, and now they just have to force it as soon as they have a chance. Figures...

Tattoos get blurry and dull over time. You can get it off by lazer, but it leaves a scar.
