Local dealer lost dealership for another make even though he sold a lot of tractors ,fell out with regional manager, took on Deutz and vowed not to be beaten on price against previous brand ,has sold a lot of Deutz in past year good reliable tractors
We have a mchale bedder and it’s been very reliable. It’s about 6 years old and only had a couple of belts. It gets through a couple of thousand bales every winter so the belts do alot of work.
Has the mchale got a hardox fan housing? Mchale has a belt drive rather than chain and shear bolt. Your machine is the 9500 teagle so always going to have less visibility than that. You need to try the 8500 teagle. In my opinion it’s the teagle that is the better machine.
Mchale make decent kit, the machine and tractor look too small for your outfit, but in my opinion Deutz are a step backwards from deere and you'd definitely need a bigger model straw chopper
Is that tractor the same as Richards demo and from same factory as Herliman that the ginger worrior (tom pem's dad) drives Keep the damage fairies away for that new kit lol How's the yellow paint holding up Do like the change of green on the farm Great to read you message to Richard, lol Lovely little tractor that Joe no waiting for the screen to load Thanks for the review Geoff
Next time you're at Gisburn, pop down the hill to Railside Trading, have a look at all their fencing products.... And the cafe might be open for you... 😏🤣
Horses for courses really i think Joe.......as you say that Deutz be ideal in around the yard doing the straw blowing....... why have a more expensive brand for the lighter jobs.. I've got 2 SAME's there decent simple tractors not quite as comfortable to drive perhaps as the dearer makes but it's a bit less money tied up in machinery which is a big issue i think now today with everything being so expensive
Should have dropped in one of your top of the stack old bales, giving it a good workout to see if you could bung it up like the teagle. A blockage or shear bolt eats your day.
Our contractor had a Deutz like that, used it for his mchale 998 wrapper. But it had a lot of electrical issues. Traded it for a JD within a year. But there are quite some Deutzes in our area though, so he must have had a monday morning one. 😅
Who does the best stakes mmmm can’t beat Miller and Carter for a good steak 😂. Could do worse than Deutz as an extra tractor for the yard and you can’t beat McHale and you can feed silage with it too, win win I’d say
U only had it for a few hours that isn't long enough to see if it would work for ur farm u would need it for a few weeks just to make sure its up to the work
We have a McHale 460 here , great machine , I get a 470 if doing big squares , we bed with 1k round bales a year no problem 5years in

You can go to 125hp in the 5series same size frame with fast steer and proper 4wheel braking
Great video Joe. Glad to see a Deutz on the farm
Evening Joe I liked the the little deulz plus those straw blowers are fantastic
Morning Joe Deutz looks small compared to the other kit on the farm 🚜 nice one 👍

Thanks Geoff , not sure if it’s the same or if Richard’s is bigger 🤔
Deutz are part of the SDF group......SAME, DEUTZ, HERLIMAN, LAMBORGHINI, there all very similar with DEUTZ engines in all of them
Great video Joe

I'd stick with the John Deere anyway, but McHale is a brilliant Irish company with a great product always, get the next size up tho.
Twin Rotor Teagle by farbtye best for heavy duty applications.
Try a kuhn primor strawbedder as a comparison there must be a local dealer
If your after some stakes give maltings timber a call at Doncaster on Wheatley hall road near Audi dealer
McHale make the best and strongest machines in the world Joe. No break downs.

R M B new machines in future wouldn’t be SAMESZ would it ?

What did your workmate think of it
I hope Deutz are putting bigger and better PTO packs in these tractors, only downfall I would say.
Is there not a grant for fencing diches and watercourses
Maybe, probably not worth the hassle though
Joe tell dady to get the money out
😂😂
First
Great video Joe
