- This room type is maybe my FAVORITE DVC villa and I'm going to show you why! Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort is a Disney Vacation Club property but you can also book this villa through central reservations at Disney or by renting DVC points. We booked ours through DVCRequest dvcrequest.com/ (non affiliate) and it's the perfect size for a girls trip.

hi jen the room tour was so funny and entertaining I laugh a lot 🦎
Your tips are always welcomed. One I listened to which really helped. Another one I didn't listen to and boy did I regret it. THe first one, I packed light. No check-in baggage. WE had an early morning flight and I'm saying, Thank you Jennn!!! ; and my family is looking at me like what are you talking about. We were able to skip the line and go straight to the gate to MAKE IT in time for our flight. Whewwwww! The second thing I did not listen to. Chef Mickey's I know your not the biggest fan of it. We went to Chef Mickey's for dinner the night before our flight out and, unfortunately, (NO DETAILS) I was in the bathroom all night sick. It literally happened after that dinner so I know where I got it from. Happy Holidays and safe travels !

Oh my goodness……if ever a property was crying out for a renew, this is it! That carpet alone makes me weep 😪, not to mention the furnishings, drapes and every piece of furniture. Not sure how much wine could allow me to exist there!

Because you are one of the few who mentions it.. People want low dues and a place to sleep in.
Took my mother on her birthday, and she mentioned that they were short of blankets. I went to the closet and got some more. I also called the front desk for more too.

Jen, have you stayed at the new Villas at Disneyland hotel yet? We just got back and it is GORGEOUS, they even themed the public bathrooms with Mary Blair art, absolutely stunning.

You guys are a riot! 🤣It was 56 degrees when my sister Rachel and I went out for dinner at The Mara on Nov. 5th and we definitely called Jambo House housekeeping for extra blankets. 🥶

Wow our two bedroom dvc room did not have full laundry room at Bay Lake when we stayed there a few months ago. Just pull open doors with stackable washer/dryer. Strange how some rooms are alittle different. I am for better bedding and more hooks. I’ve been bringing hanging hooks just to hang towels. Can only hang so many towels on a towel rack.

Seriously though what is it with the bedding situation Disney? The whole no comforter thing drives me nuts. I will actually pack a small lightweight fleece throw to be a bit more comfortable. You were spot on when you described it as "hospital bedding".
It changed after Covid and they never changed it back (although other Disney properties around the world have lovely bedding so it's just WDW). It's a huge problem for me - at any price point.
The plates reminded me of Doritos 😂
We had a proper duvet in our suite, the marvel hotel, in Paris. Seems odd it wouldn’t be the same in every Disney :/

The Tokyo Disneyland had a proper duvet also. Super cheap of WDW to not have proper bedding!
They also need to fix the towel situation. Not sure who is supposed to be able to wrap their "large" towel around them but it is not this Pooh sized lady!

We did not need extra blankets, and the bedding wa# fine, for our recent stay at Newport Bay Resort/Disneyland Paris.
Disneyland in CA has lovely bedding too! It seems to just be at Walt Disney’s World in FL
I still don’t understand how a corporation that makes BILLIONS of dollars a quarter has such crap sheets. Excited for the refurb though! 😂
It really is remarkable.
Their bedding is seriously the worst I’ve ever seen. Stayed at the Aulani 2x and given the price point of the rooms it’s completely unacceptable. Two sheets with a thin, crusty, 80 year old blanket in between…hard pass.
Yep fix the bedding issue 👎 Tired of bringing our own blankets 😢
My issue with the bedding is I want an actual flat sheet, not the two that are covering the icky blanket. Ew!
