I'm from the Appalachian mountains in southwest Virginia, and consider myself hillbilly as hell. I'm thinking now that this ain't the only place they raise hillbillies, that they come from Finland too. Keep doing what you do, I love it.

Ooooh, they're FINs. That explains everything. There were several Fin families on the other side of the lake where my Granpa lived. When those guys started to party you knew it. I am from Northern Ontario Canada :)

Coming from a guy that was a teenager throughout the nineties, this was Fn amazing. Oh my God it translates so well with bluegrass and the song ages very well because someone will always identify with the lyrics.
I listened to The Offspring a lot back in the day and still do nowadays. Smash is an amazing album. This is one of the most glorious things I've ever listened to.

Apparently, the Offspring loves both versions too. And having met them about 20 years ago, they're about the coolest guys you could possibly imagine. I'm not surprised that they'd love this.

Spotify made me discover this cover this week. IT IS PERFECT! Everything about this video is great. The characterization is superb. The scenery is poetic. The outfits fit so well. The original is at the same time respected and ridiculed. Subscribed with easy conscience.
Math is math, music requires math and a sequential ear for more to feel deeper in the soul. Clearly, best practices says that these guys have not just team spirit, but soul to understand a deeper meaning to culture. Offspring given in just a new flavor. Can't be bad we think. I agree.
