What ‘Chasing Grace’ needs is a External Alternator Regulator like Wakespeed, Zeus or Balmar. The regulator will manage the load issue between the lithium batteries and the alternator. If the alternator is the original stuck alternator (which looks to be the case on the video), they may also want to consider a larger high-output alternator. There is no need for DC/DC converter with the external alternator.
I am going to be honest and maybe it'll make it into the next season changes. I have been watching every video for years and enjoyed it. Whenever you guys got back on the water the general feel of the videos fell from exciting to it just seemed like you made videos because you had to, not because you wanted to. Sure, the videos were long (long videos don't bother me), but they were very confined in what subject were covered, loads of repeating and not much energy. My suggestion is to make the videos you want to make and keep challenging yourself in techniques and storytelling! If you don't have the energy to make a video, it's not gonna be energizing to watch. This video has some energy - I'm excited for the next, that I see is already up! Keep up the great work!
I recall seeing you both in the caribbean with Dan and Kika, and I happen to come across this video with no views or likes; so I watched and gave it a like to help out. It's great to see you are both together and looking good as ever. I also decided to subscribe. I hope it all helps and I'll be looking for more in the future. Much love!
