@@user-uu6zn7vc6r I belive its sinful, thats why i wish everyone would dress modestly. its a beautiful thing. Biblically, women are to be modest. I’m not saying dresses only I don’t wear dresses daily but I strive to be modest.
Just pointing out that everyone has different standards as to what constitutes modesty. It’s not a one size fits all.
@@abby12345_ I find modest dressing the pinnacle of vanity, especially when attached to a religion with a dresscode. It says "Look at me, will you look at me being all modest". Formal modest dressing within a religion that praises or demands modesty is unintended irony.
@@ErwinBlonkthat is completely backwards.you don’t have to be religious to respect a woman’s right to cover herself.when a woman is half naked showing the world her prized possessions “THAT” is saying hey look at me I need attention.no one is saying cover yourself from head to toe.your irrational thinking says look at me more than a modest dressed woman.
The world needs more modesty, and it's something I try to live by in my own life.

I lol’d when you were talking about looking 50 like it meant you’d be ancient as Iam 52. lol. You look amazing for just having a baby! Thanks for doing this video. I’d never heard of either of these stores and I’m always trying to find good quality modest clothing that doesn’t look frumpy or old lady since Iam not old and frumpy. I’m still very active and living life. And as a hairdresser I’m always looking for movable comfortable clothing that wear well. So thank you for putting yourself out there and dealing with all the ridiculous people that make assumptions about what they think you mean when you say modest and attack you in the comments. For what is in the heart flows from the mouth. So the hate the hold flows freely in their words. I believe people often feel conviction when they see and hear other women talking about looking feminine and modest. Plus they have unrealistic ideas about what modest means and looks like. So they go after others in order to try and feel better about shoving the conviction they fell down so they don’t have to feel it. So keep moving forward and taking a strong stand for feminism and presenting yourself in a beautiful modest fashion that isn’t old lady frumpy.

I much prefer trousers or trakki bottoms, ive not worn a skirt or dress for 13 years. The last time I wore a dress, was for my daughters wedding. Then it was plain chiffon.
I’m a RUclipsr that been filming on my iPhone for over 2 years and just bought my first semi pro camera and it’s all whole new world. I’m clueless… with the lenses and settings lol. I wish I could buy my dresses. My church’s standard is a cape dress.

I am 100% behind dressing modestly. I always have even as a teen. I am not Mennonite, but agree with this. I wear long pants a lot, t-shirts with the rounded neck line, long sleeve shirt and sweatshirts, shorts that come to my knees and also capris. I also wish more people did this kind of dressing.

Good question! So yes, I wear leggings most of the time during the winter, and bike shorts a lot during the summer. :)

I can't stand excessive modesty. Covering excessively doesn't even seem like modesty anymore. It's just a bunch of hurts to me.
It never did anyone I know any bit of good. Found out later in life that modesty blends in rather than sticking out ugly. Excessive modesty is not attractive, it's isolating, worsens opportunities, splits family's, fewer marry, and creates bad attitudes, arrogance, and pride. Wish people would just dress to their liking and fit in having good taste. Get out of the comfort zone and grow one's experiences. But fear of being attractive and lust keeps people hiding away. Lust isn't to be feared. It's evil intentions to rape. Most people don't lust, they just want to see a pretty face, a loving person, a little beauty to brighten their hard day. I don't like the hardness of excessive modesty. It's not love projected as far as I have experienced. But that's just my two cents.
It’s interesting to me how people will talk about modesty in the clothing aspect and forget modesty is more about character, not a piece of clothing.
One day...when I used pink primer for mascara...and I forgot the mascara part! Everybody allowed me to sport pink lashes all day!
