How to install flight controller (apm 2.8/ pixhawk) in RC plane

- This video is a tutorial video where I have covered almost everything related to apm (arduplane). There are so many videos available on RUclips related to copters, but very less videos regarding to this topic, so I thought it might be a good idea to upload a tutorial video!
Well I know the apm fc Is kinda outdated but it is cheapest fc available in the market which can be programmed via mission planner, If you wanna go a little bit more advance then i suggest you to use pixhawk fc, Calibration process is kinda same for both the flight controllers.

nice, but remember to use at least a 3300mah battery with 11" propellers on two A2212 1000kv motors....they are the most inefficient motors ive ever used

Why my rc plane motor stops working when I switch to auto and rth modes
Your motor won't stop if your plan is flying, if your checking those flight modes on ground, for sure they won't work
Does it lands when you switch it to RTL mode ??

Does it switch itself to RTL mode when it dets out of the range of the transmitter please help i am getting confused 😕
It will just loiter around. ( you can set loitering height and radius via mission planner)
Once battery drains the plane will slowly loose it's height and will land smoothly!!
Yes, it does switch to rtl if rx looses contact with tx.

It does, I had some bad experiences with it, use good quality double side tape to mount your fc!

Hello my friend. Very nice video. I have an apm 2.6, do i need a shock absorber mount like you have?
Also, can you tell me the difference between apm 2.6 and 2.8?
If your prop is well balanced then there is no need to use shock absorber.
Talking about the apm 2.8, it has the option to use the built-in compass and external compass via a jumper.
@@prathameshkalaskar9250 many thanks for this. So the only difference between them is that the apm 2.6 only has external compass, and the 2.8 has the option of external or internal compass?

Less than 50 meters, bought that piece of shit from Amazon, might go for a new telemetry soon.
