What matters is chosing the perspective on honoring your loved one. Def the approach I took when I lost my grandma who was like my mom. Joy is rooted in Christ. @@royalskyeofficial I can't begin to tell you how much this hurts watching, let alone what it felt like to me the day I woke up and saw the news of your father's unfortunate passing. I myself have had a few bouts in my mind with self-deleting recently, as well as dealing with the internal demons that your father made a video about called "in my head"... That video hit home to me on so many levels to the point I've shared that video quite a few times with ppl ik struggling to let em know, they're not alone... Long story short, I just wanted to say to you that you are a blessing to us all because not only do you look like your father but you have the same heart as your father. That isn't something that is easily found and it's something that anyone that is lucky enough to come in contact with you should appreciate. I like many kids back-in-the-day used to run home after school or wake up extra early on Saturday mornings to watch the show which are the days that to this day I've never forgot, and will say that it was because of your father is the reason why I had got into karate and wanted to learn how to do backflips and such. I've watched that show so much and even to this day at 37 years old I still want the Dragon Dagger or Saba and even say that I loved watchin bc of your dad so much that I perfected the "evil green ranger" laugh to the point that if you actually heard me you'd think that I was your father doing it. At the end of the day your father would've been proud over this song, don't ever think that he's gone bc as long as we all speak his name or still watch the show your father will live on and most importantly as long as you're still here your father's spirit will live on through you. Jdf was always my favorite ranger. As a kid my dad had the same hair cut with the pony tail. I always thought he was like your dad. But we don't even speak nomore. I took jdf passing very personal. I put my 6 year old son on the og power rangers and he loved jdf. Then he told me daddy your like the green ranger. You're my super hero. I'll never fail my son. Crazy how my kid compared me to Jason like I did with my dad. R.i.p JDF this hurts but Skye he's proud of you and this song I'm sure he's listening to it on repeat up there.

Idk when or if you will ever see this, but I hope you don't mind my saying thanks for sharing your dad with fans like myself. If not for him I wouldn't be here today. Around summer of 2007 when I was 15 I got deathly sick and was basically stuck in bed for nearly two years. There were plenty of times I wanted to quit and once I nearly did. One of the things I had to watch were reruns of Dino Thunder featuring your dad and also some of SPD and Ninja Storm. Anytime I wanted to quit, as if right on cue there was the show with your dad saying a ranger never quits. Aside from one or two that bothered to check up on me, and having an xbox I was essentially cut off from the outside world. Hearing that from your dad helped me keep going. While I'm not in as perfect of health as I would like to be today, I recovered completely from that sickness.
I never met your dad in person. Only interaction I ever had with him was the one time he responded to a random comment of mine years ago on facebook about something unrelated. Saved a screenshot of it cause I had a bit of a fanboy moment. I always hoped one day I would get to meet your dad in person and thank him but that chance never came. So I hope you don't mind my saying to you thanks for sharing him with fans like myself instead.
I lost the man who was that father figure I needed in 2017 and boy did that burn. I can't imagine what you're dealing with right now. If any of us fans could snap our fingers and make things better we would. I have no doubt your dad is proud of you and loved you. We could hear it in his voice in the clip from the video. Up until recently I had no idea that jdf had more children. I am so sorry for what you have gone through for what you have lost. The vocals the lyrics everything is very beautiful. These beautiful words reminded me how I cherished my own relationship with my father. I want you to know that a lot of us Power Rangers fans support you and wish you the best. I hope you heal well and your career blossoms more than it already does
Did you know JDF;s best friend, and Skye's uncle, Todd Carroll, took his own life the same year JDf's brother Erik Frank, Skye's other uncle, also took his own life? The same year JDF's friend and fellow ranger, Thuy Trang died? And a decade later, two of JDf's best friends who were brothers and his MMA training partners took their own life? And JDF's mom died of Cancer in 2016? And one of JDF's students took his own life a couple years ago? And JDF's stepdaughter Shayla, overdosed on prescription pills 2 years ago who JDF found? And even Jenna and Jacob have mentioned suicidal thoughts in the past? And Skye's mom; JDF's first wife, had batltled with her own suicidal tendencies and addictions? And that this wasnt the first time JDF tried to take his own life as his manager mentioned he tried to do it once years back in Dubai? JDF's whole life was filled with joy but also tragedy. Thats why he tried to remain so positive and motivational to his fans, always talking abut the importance of talking about mental health and also his poems and his vlogs and meeting his fans at cons because he knew they supported him and vice versa. Many fans told JDF through him he saved them from self-deletion. Its sad.

Showed a young handicapped boy (me) that everyone even the most evil can sometimes be redeemed. Overtime I got to see how he is as a person and my respect for him grew more. I new a lot of this information honestly. I just didn't think it would be appropriate for me to bring it up here

I lost my mom a few months before he left us as well.. I know the loss you feel is tremendous and inconsolable, but know that there are people who feel the same way you do.. so try to take comfort knowing that you can feel low TOGETHER with someone, even if not beside eachother. I feel so alone in my grief, but it feels easier to get through the hard times knowing your walking the same world shattering walk as someone else.
Jason was a true inspiration to a whole generation of people, who through your dads positive motivational actions, they now carry a sense of virtue and 'right', while trying to emulate those actions.

Mom and I met your father in April and May, we shared with him our mental illness and told him how much hes changed our lives. I was told never to meet your heroes because youll be disappointed, but your father was the exception. God bless you and have a great day 👏🏻
