- Marcia breaks a date with Charlie after getting asked out by Doug, the most popular guy at school!
#BradyBunch | Now streaming on Paramount+
Where to watch: para.mt/BradyBunch
Doug Simpson looks old enough to be a senior NCAA quarterback.
....for the AARP! ...ha-HAAA!
People did look older in those days. Alice was 47.
😂😂
He was Fredrick Von Trapp in Sound of Music.
I thought he was around 25.
Alice removes scalding hot cookies off a scalding hot pan with her fingers. What a woman 😍
Alice was just like my grandma in that regard, she has fingers of asbestos!!
@@moretoknowshow1887 I suppose Charlie is also a grandma 😂.
LOL😂
Plus she offers some to Charlie who grabs one off the scalding metal pan and immediately eats it
And she puts the hot cookies into the cookie jar. You know what happens if you put hot baked things into a container.. they steam and go soggy. Someone should have told Alice that.
She got asked out by a 35 year old high school senior.
😂
LMFAO!🤣
Jman
Yep 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Marcia does have a thing for _older_ men...
Doug must have been left back many times!
He's as a believable teenager as Stockard Channing was in Grease LOL! 🏈
Good one...lol
Olivia Newton John was stretching it too.
He's a wall crawling menace! Now get out there and get me pictures of SPIDERMAN!
He was just a wee lad in the sound of music in 1965.
Charlie was a keeper. He wasn't full of himself like Doug was. I'd pick him any time over the Dougs of the world. Doug on a date would want to talk about himself while you fawned all over him admiring his wonderfulness. Charlie would talk about you and what your interests were.
A ginger tho
@@andrewp7509lmao - oh wow that was gold
How’s it working out? 🤔
I agree. Charlie was the better guy.
Aww, poor, sweet Charlie!
Then karma paid Marsha a visit for doing that to sweet Charlie to go out with Mr. Cool..the football to the nose scene OUCH LOL
@@aaronjess1608 Oh, yeah... LOL!
Doug is the guy you date for a while and realize is a waste of time. Charlie is the sort of guy you end up marrying.
@@eduardo_corrochio Yep.
Why wouldn't Marcia want a date with Friederch Von Trapp?! Haha!
Haha forgot that was him.
Who? You mean Peter Parker?
Doug already had a receding hairline.
Interesting choice of casting for "Vickie"! Arguably she looks like a model: tall, full hair, shining smile. I hate to say it but Marcia looks a little plain walking next to her!
Finally Someone That
“Towers Over” Marcia
I thought the same. Marcia's pretty but Vicki was prettier and I'm surprised Doug asked Marcia for a date instead of Vickie. Though of course there is more to it than looks. Doug seemed to like fans though, maybe after Marcia ultimately turned him down to go out with Charlie (a real keeper!) he asked Vickie out.
The actress here playing Vickie starred in the pilot episode of the Spiderman series during the 1970's along with Nicholas Hammond (aka Doug Simpson here) playing the lead role.
The only thing she is, is tall. She doesn't look better than Marcia. If you prefer tall , then ok. But tall doesn't make you more attractive, in most peoples' opinions.
@@sabrinashelton1997 she is attractive too
I think that Doug Simpson was one of the kids in the Sound of Music motion picture.
Correct he was the oldest one of the boys
Kim Karath, who played the youngest Von Trapp daughter in The Sound of Music, also appeared in an episode of The Brady Bunch as Jan's classmate, who has a crush on Greg.
@@GeminiladyJackson-xq6hc Wasn’t her name Kerry Hathaway (or something like that) in the episode?
@@jackmeyhoffer5107 Yes it was. Peter had a crush on her!
@@jackmeyhoffer5107 Doug Simpson and Marcia's friend both appeared together in The Amazing Spiderman TV pilot.
Marsha was sorry she had to dump Charlie for the other guy.
Vicky was 🔥
Charlie is a WHOLE lot cuter! 🤩
Fresh hot cookies straight from the oven and into ... the cookie jar, without letting them cool. Gotta love silly classic TV behavior. I know, it's The Brady Bunch, a light diversion--- but this is funny as hell. No wonder Robert Reed started getting fed up with the show. :D
Trivia: you may recognize Big Man on Campus Doug Simpson (Nicholas Hammond, who I'm told was in the 1977 Spider Man live action show on CBS) from the movie The Sound of Music in which he played Friedrich Von Trapp.
Thank you, I was wondering where I knew him from!
I love how they say 'far out' god haven't heard that saying in a awhile 😂
Your comment is groovy.
It's so very 70's. One reason I enjoy this show, brings back my youth lol!
Saying “far out” is so rad. Wait…saying “rad” was the 80s…
Your comment is neato😅
Doug Simpson is aka Peter Parker from the Amazing Spider-Man tv series from the 70’s
And Friedrich from The Sound of Music!
Nicholas Hammond
And the actress here playing Vickie was a co-star in the pilot episode of that spiderman series.
The 1995 movie spoofed this storyline to perfection.
I know, it was goofy as hell!
Doug don’t even look like he’s in high school . He looks like he’s about 40😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
It just me or is that Freidrich from Sound of Music?
It is him. I Googled it. Same actor.
Dude was hitting on Marsha.
Doug Simpson looks like he’s 29
He wsv28
Skule can be so problematic for Marcia......
lol
Aw...the perils of being pretty and popular.
That's SKEUWEL. ;-) LOL
It's funny, Christine Taylor as Marcia in The Brady Bunch Movie says "skyool" ... but I never heard Maureen McCormick say it that way in any episode of the series. :D Taylor claims that was the original pronunciation on the show.
@@Icandoitifiwant Point taken!!!!! Anytime I hear "school" I think of this.....
BRADY BUNCH GOOF!!!!! Charlie didn’t have to open the door to walk in, he could have gone through the door. Why ? Because that same door to the kitchen in all the episodes has shown, there is no screen door lol😂
Yes, there are no screens or glass ... would probably look awful on camera (and reflect the set's lights), so they left them "empty".
Charlie's out... he has a better chance of hopping in the sack with Alice.
Something suddenly came up 😂😅
❤🎉
Yeah, but Charlie went on to become the CEO of a extremely successful start-up.
Did the actor actually do that?
Wholesome
I don’t think I ever heard anyone call her “Marsh” before, but it was a nice touch. It reinforced the premise that this is a close friend of Marcia’s. It felt very natural.
Most people didn't notice in The Brady Bunch movie when Marcia kisses Charlie at the front door after the dance he looks down at his crotch then says, "I have to go, something suddenly came up."
everybody noticed........
I missed that part.
You wouldn't think Doug was Nicholas Hammond.
Doug is Spider-Man!
quick! call CPS.
Never been a fan of Marcia...or Greg.
My two favorite Bradys are Peter and Jan. Marcia and Greg seem be a little too full of themselves for my liking...
Greg was my fav...handsome...Peter was sooo nerdy.
2 dates on the same night, must be nice
Thats Nicholas Hammond, also known as 1970s TV Spider Man, and was also in Once Upon A Time In Hollywood as Sam Wanamaker.
He’s also British, with an accent. He was good at removing it when he had to.
And the actress playing Vickie here was a co-star in the pilot episode of the 1970's TV Spider-Man.
also known as 15 years too old to be hanging around school girls.
@@jimharper8286 *Nicholas Hammond* (b. *1950)* is *American.* Born in *Washington, D.C.* A military brat, his family moved around the country a lot in his childhood. ...Charlie may be a bit 'eager' to see Marcia (1:19), but he knows the Family (1:43), & respects the Mother & Brother(s), and seems fit n' Healthy....So, WHY is Marcia referring to him as '...something awful...'!? (0:50) .....Charlie, tell her something suddenly came UP....her NOSE.... "🤥" (3:20) ...
Greg explains to Marcia how last month, when the prettiest girl in school smiled at him, something suddenly came up and so he asked her out, even though he had already made plans for that day with his plain-Jane regular girlfriend.
Doug Simpson was played by Shane Conrad, the son of Robert Conrad.
No, he was played by Nicholas Hammond of “Sound of Music” and”Spider-Man” fame.
@@jaredjlinden Doug Simpson is a character in The Brady Bunch. He was played by Nicholas Hammond, and later by Shane Conrad in The Brady Bunch Movie.
How would Doug Simpson do against Jerry Rogers on the football field?
Had Marcia dated Doug she would've been super safe cause he's Spider Man Lol 😂
Marcia 😍
Lisa Eilbacher plays Vicki.
Her sister Cindy Eilbacher was also a frequently seen child actress
Peter Parker asking Marcia on a date!
Yeah, the original live action Spiderman.
The actress playing Vickie here ended up as a co-star on the pilot episode of that Spiderman TV series.
He is P.P.P
If I was Doug I would asked marcias friend out!
Lisa Eilbacher, who played Marcia's friend, appeared in the movie, An Officer and a Gentleman and Beverly Hills Cop.
@@GeminiladyJackson-xq6hc And she starred in the pilot episode of the 1970's Spiderman TV series along with the actor playing Doug Simpson here who also was on the Spiderman series in the leading role as Spiderman/Peter Parker.
That slider didn’t have glass. Charlie put his hand through it as he closed it.
Did you all know that Doug Simpson is Frederick from Sound of Music? Guess Captain Vonn Trapp’s oldest son turned into a hottie in high school (although he looks old enough to be a PhD student)
TBB is so great for forgetting the current world and it's problems.. it's a step back in time. No cell phones.. social media.. People TALKED face to face. Imagine that.
Damn Marsha was a player 😂
When Marcia walks in her house and sees Charlie there, "something suddenly came up in his pants." Lol...ok well let's just say that he was excited to see her....lol
On a BB trivia quiz, there was a multiple choice question of Maria's reaction after getting hit by the football. The question asked, "Did she scream, " OH MY 1. FACE! 2. NOSE! 3. BUTT! 4. EYES!
0:50 is it me or the same people walk towards them in the beginning and then away from them lol red sweater or blue dress😅
And at 0:12 the couple walks past them, Marcia and Vicky stop, bit at 0:21 the same couple reappear behind Doug as Doug walks up from behind. The girl from that couple then appears again behind Marcia at 1:03!
Marcia is such a hypocrite! To think that she went ballistic on poor Alan just a couple of years earlier when he had to cancel their dance date due to his aunt visiting! At least he wasn't lying!
Doug Simpson is the big man on campus. He always brings protection
That’s because he’s 40 lol
At his age, he’s already had a vasectomy.
Vicki is cuter than Marcia! 😮
That's Peter Parker.
Spider-man!
Marcia should have been allowed to stay home from sküle when she broke her nose with the football.
Spiderman was in this show?
Back then it was called young love, now they call it grooming 🤨 😂
Charlie is cute
Doug does look old enough to nearly have left school! Alice must have cast iron fingers to remove hot biscuits( cookies) from hot baking trat! ! 🍪👮
I wonder how many dates it took for Charlie to get Marcia into the backseat of his dad’s car?
Marcia was a good girl, she did not do that.
greg looked way too old to be living at home, he looked at least 30 here.
He was considered hot back then 😮
Her friend Vicky is way hotter
Marcia isn’t looking at her best here. Her hair is kind of ratty and that red sweater isn’t helping either.
Pantyhose!
was he the gay one from sound of music
That was Uncle Max.
she's so pretty. today she would get fillers and botox and eff up her face like Kylie Jenner did
vikki....hot af......
That’s Peter Parker!
bmeister22 brought me here. Anyway, Marcia traded a boink for some dope. True story.
