Yes. Don’t waste this opportunity. They will be hired elsewhere. What have you seen from Mayo that gives the promise of a deep playoff run even with the right pieces around Maye?
*You have to let Mayo go…I was on aboard up until this last game against the Cardinals to give him an extra chance. But the team on a fundamental level is getting even WORSE then they were at the start of the year. Not to mention throwing his own OC under the bus and CONSTANTLY having to walk back his comments. This has happened at least 7 times this year where he’s had to come back the next morning. If you fire any of the coordinators…who is going to want and come to this situation? No one had faith or the trust in Mayo after the way he’s behaved this year. I think he can be a HC some day…but he keeps making the same mistakes over and over and has A LOT to learn about the position.*
I bet he'd be ok as DC, if that's all he had to focus on. And a way to appease Krafts obvious soft spot for mayo. Then bring in the power house duo. Draft hunter, play him at both roles, on offense and opposite side of gonzo sheesh
What makes anybody think Josh McDaniels is a good offensive coordinator without Tom Brady in the NFL of 2025? McDaniels failed at his last two coaching jobs. Sure, he was head coach, but don't you think he had some say -- in fact, veto power -- over what his offensive coordinators were running on failing teams? McDaniels is not an elite, innovative OC.
First thing that came to mind for me. Probably turn over 75%-85% of this roster in the next 3yrs anyways so I don't get this notion of losing the locker room lol
You two guys don’t get it, do you? It’s not up to the locker room to decide if Jerod Mayo stays or if he goes. It’s not even up to Robert Kraft if Mayo stays at head coach. The final say comes down to the patrons, the ticket holders, and those who watch on Sunday. They are the ones who buy the tickets. They are the ones who buy the merchandise. Those are the ones who fill up Gillette Stadium - or not. They are going to revolt if Jerod Mayo is not get fired at the end of this season. It’s not up to you two guys. It’s not even up to Robert Kraft either. Follow the money!
i sincerely hope the locker room turns on Mayo. never have i seen a guy become an HC that deserved it so much less compared to other candidates that actually deserved a shot
The only thing that could keep the Pats from moving on from Mayo and trying to bring in Vrabel is Robert Kraft refusing to budge on his poor decision to anoint Mayo as the future of the franchise. It will have nothing to do with the 3 remaining games or his popularity in the locker room. Kraft knows he made a mistake. he knows that Vrabel is the better option. The question is, will he have the balls to fix his mistake or will he stubbornly refuse to take away the anointing he gave Mayo. Do the right thing for the future of the franchise Robert! Fire Mayo and hire Vrabel.
I don’t know. Mayo deserves another year. He says stupid shit, but in terms of coaching. He needs another year to really know anything. Not a single soul would have came in here, and produced much better with this roster. As well as building a culture in a season. I have a feeling he will pan out into a really really good HC. Would hate to let him go early, and see him do it somewhere else down the line.
Well him expressing interest coaching here, the fact he made his hay here, the hall of fame ceremony and his own words… why wouldn’t we “deserve” him? We made him. 🤷♂️
lmao, yall reporting on a made up scenario by another reporter... this is not news or reporting.... lol.. tom curran tried to clarify his ridiculous assumption on weei with christian lol

Hired by who nobody wants Vrabel that's why he's unemployed right now nobody is trying to hire him.
By your logic then why is bill not coaching in the nfl anymore. The best coach and yet he was begging the jets other day to come back.
Let's Goooo Vrabel

Home town chant.....MAY-YO must GO
Fire Mayo *clap clap clap clap clap*
Yes please.
I bet he'd be ok as DC, if that's all he had to focus on. And a way to appease Krafts obvious soft spot for mayo. Then bring in the power house duo. Draft hunter, play him at both roles, on offense and opposite side of gonzo sheesh
YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES
Get mayo as far away from the building as possible. Just thinking about Vrabel and McDaniels makes me so happy. I really hope they do it
Gotta bring back the patriot way and I think they could actually do it

His shortcomings as a HC were not scheme related. I wouldn't say he's elite but he's very good and that's a big upgrade over AVP
Hell with the locker room. Most of these guys won't be here in two years.
First thing that came to mind for me. Probably turn over 75%-85% of this roster in the next 3yrs anyways so I don't get this notion of losing the locker room lol
This shouldn’t even be a decision. Getting vrabel and Josh is a slam dunk no brainer. Don’t do it for a Ben Johnson type, but vrabel is different

Need Vrabes back ngl
Yes. Just do it.
Mayo doesn't have the locker room fact!!!!
Jets will hire Vrable and will commence to beat the Pats moving forward.
Yes nothing more attractive than a team that cant win NO MATTER WHAT THEY DO! Lmfao just find a better team man
Mike HC , josh OC, mayo DC what could go wrong but win

you stick with that coach there is no hope for this franchise
Just admit you want mayo fired because he's black and get it over with!
What about bill last year?
@@keithturner6924 lol haaaaaaaaaaa so pathetic
Mike DC
Josh McDaniels who has been fired so many times what he suppose to do!
@@keithturner6924 He was a great OC, just a bad HC
Considerations: Mike Vrabel, tops. Then whether it's Josh or Brian Daboll; and even Robert Saleh for DC. It's a good start.
Josh offense is outdated
Vrabel the same guy that had a way better roster with the Titans then Mayo and still got fired what he going to do that's different from Mayo!
💯
Maybe look up and research what happened internally with the titans in '22 and '23 before you pop off..
The Patriot marks will blame Vrabel if they ask next year too. Never Maye or the select few hahaha. They’ll suck for a while
What does this comment even mean???
Why do Patriots fans think they deserve Vrabel? We don’t! Not happening!
