Incase any newbies are watching. 8lb mainline to a 5lb hooklength for float/pellet wag is a tad overkill. 4-6lb max for pellet waggler fishing for decent carp might seem quite light but with a nice soft rod ive landed a 12lb carp on 4lb mainline. 3-4lb for stick float fishing.
Really informative video Korum and a beautiful setting. One thing that Kevin doesn't highlight for "newbies" is a "how to" and the care taken from netting to release should be shown. My single biggest observation is that we see so many carp with split lips or deformed mouths due to the actions of inexperienced anglers and using the wrong hooks. So, not a criticism, just an observation perhaps to include on a separate video. Ultimately these videos are made to market your products to sell.
@@raybaldey8804 I only used barbless and don't go above size 12 hooks, not been fishing since I was in school so been a fair few years🤣 used to go all the time but forgot how complicated and how much stuff there is at the start
Is there a float rod coming in the phase 1 or 2 that is targeted from canal silvers, or for trotting for dace roach and bleak. Be nice if it's 3 piece (maybe telescopic) so you can fit it into the boot of the car without the rod being on show before you get chance for a quick fishing session
Can anyone recommend a double hold-all for these at all? Camouflage would be preferable And will the reel take 10-12Lb line as some of the places we will fish stock larger carp and will the rod’s handle these?

@@kurtee3920 A lot of fisheries have a barbless only rule. Also anglers using massive oversized hooks and line.

I have caught 15 pound carp on this setup
GOOD stuff!
I enjoyed it but if I'm honest, it was a bit to product focused and I lost interest very quickly
