First Law! First Law! First Law! Huzzah!
Start First Law mate. You won’t regret it. It’s the best audiobook experience going. Pacey is amazing. You will fly through them.
First Law, First Law, First Law, yeah 🎉
Lol I wrote my comment then looked down and you had already said the same thing haha
The Elder Empire!! No one talks about my favorite series 🤪
I look forward to your Royal Assassin video! 🤩🙌🏼
First Law for sure
I have a TBR list and I stick to it. So much less stress.
First Law. A 5 star trilogy for sure. I'm a mood reader. I can't seem to plan too much in advance. Excited to hear of your writing progress 😊
Go first law, it’s so good ☺️ but I feel like you can’t go wrong whichever way you go!
The first lawbooks are amazing being able to go back-and-forth between the Audible version and Kindle and pick up where I left off has been priceless. 😀
I highly recommend
I'm currently on the third book of the empire of the wolf trilogy (starting with justice of kings), and it's SO good!
I really want to read Ascendant too. That cover always grabs my attention.
Looking forward to your Royal Assassin video. Fitz is also my favorite fantasy character.
Justice of King, I go the ebook on sale, and I read just the first chapter to check it out, and it's very promising. The author's style is right up my alley.
Wow, that's a thicccc TBR
I’m so excited to hear you talking about Farseer! Can’t wait for your Royal Assassin video. God I loved that book!!! 😍😍😍
Currently taking a break from a book on Rosevelt and Taft to listen to Shadowblade the final book of Spellmonger: Legacy and Secrets. So far the weakest of all the books but it’s alright.
After finishing those two I have a few options: Gideon the Ninth, Age of Myth, and Gods of the Wyrmwood.
Another great video, looking forward to the next. Can't wait to see your continuation with the Farseer trilogy!
First Law!! I was tied up with Malazan for so long that I missed out on other stuff for ages. I started First Law in December and am currently on the second from last book and oh my gosh it is a wonderful series. Abercrombie is now my favourite author. Do it!!
I just finished this phenomenal new book of fairy tales entitled Sillies, Fancies, and Trifles - it was phenomenal and I think you'd love it. It would go with the lovely recommendations here. Keep up the beautiful videos :)
I'm very interested in the deep-dive research into fantasy themes.
I would read Abercrombie over Sanderson all day every day and yes do the audiobooks.
Me too but I like them both! Pacey is brilliant 👏🏼
Im so looking forward to here what you think of the Farseer Trilogy. I say skip Sanderson and Abercrombie and dive into The Liveship Traders 😘🥰 I've been planning my reading a lot the last year, but now I decided to plan just a little ahead, like for my bookclubs and the general feeling. April will be mostly historical fiction and light crime, but also the second book about Merlin, The Hollow Hills by Mary Stewart. The first book was really good, but I'm brought up on The Mists of Avalon from Morgaines point of view so its a bit weird for me 😅 in May I'm going to start Reading Lord of the Rings! Haven't read them since i was a teenager. Well hmm I cant promise 😅 it might be more of an autumn read?
Mistborn era 2 is such a tone shift from the first trilogy. And it reads so so fast. I haven’t read the newest in the series but they’re such fast reads that I say wrap em up before moving on to first law ❤️ I just ordered my copy of Justice of kings, hope you pick it up soon
Kraken Rider Z is an incredible Journey!! I reviewed it a few weeks back. Probably one of my favorite books ever. (they have a paperback copy of Kraken Ridder Z).
Can't wait to see that video you've got planned for the summer haha! Great vid as always
I am going to WorldCon, I am very excited, its my first con of any description! 🙂I have a similar plan regarding trying to catch up on books of authors that are planning to attend
"Spin of Fate" is on my TBR as well. I am a bit nervous as I don't click with YA, but I have hopes for this one. I also have your book waiting on my kindle, but I need to finish my other Egyptian inspired" Dead Djinn Universe" by P. Djèlí Clark first. 🥰
TBR I plan it. At the moment I still have 5 books to add for 2025. I will probably finish the TBR for 2025 sometime in the summer. I was curious about your book, namely if I had your book in Goodreads. I added it because it wasn't there (I remembered it during this clip).
Hey, man. Just finding your channel now. Excellent taste in books! I'm excited to watch more. :)
Welcome! Thank you!
@@the_fools_taleI run a channel as well and am also an indie writer. I'll have to put your book on my TBR. Cheers.
FIRST LAW!!
Coming to Scotland for the first time from the US in August - going to miss the Con by a week :( Booooooo
Awww! I’m sure you’ll still have a great trip!
I always make tbrs but never end up following them 😭
Same but we try haha
I want to read the farseer trilogy so bad!!! Soooon it will happen lol
I knew I would like it but it has blown me away with how immersive it is. There are few books I can sit and read for hours on end!
@@the_fools_tale I can not wait!!!
Live stream 🎉🎉
Do you buy physical copies of books you listen to on audio?
10K = read 10.000 pages en 10.000 seconds
I think a person that can stick to their TBR is unhealthy. There i said it 😉🤣🤪
10k subs = buy 10k new books ;)
Now we’re talking
