I know it may come as a shock to some people how open I am about my struggles in life, but I feel that it can be extremely important for people to hear if they are going through a similar experience in life. If anyone else has been struggling with any sort of mental health issues, and you're comfortable sharing, I'd love to hear from you guys.
You are not alone in this life, so don't go through your struggles alone!
I love you all and I can't wait to see what 2025 has in store for us!

As a deaf guy: thanks for the subtitles on shorts, I don’t know if they all have them but so far most I’ve seen must have had them. It helps out a lot ❤

To respond to the prompt at the end of the video asking for our own year review; well I’m someone who also places a lot of emphasis on self growth and mental health and reflection, so watching this video already got me started doing my own. This year was rough for me, I feel like I back tracked on a lot of the progress I made in my life in terms of mental health and orienting myself around my goals. I didn’t quite accomplish anything I sought out to this year, though I still did get some cool stuff done. I’ve been beating myself up about it recently, But, like you said, you never really know where you will be in a year. Putting this reflection and this energy out there that this next year I will do better, and I’ll be happy with myself and the work that I do.
    Cheers Austin

Hey Austin! Loved how genuine you are in the video. You aim to be more presentable in 2025, you’ve streamlined the business, and you’re where you want to be. I’m just glad I actually got a game in with you on vert of all maps, we lost but it was fun. In cs I kind of hit a plateau of being a bare minimum level 10, so I like watching videos and getting perspectives because playing the game can be very draining mentally.
My advice to you for growing the main channel is just posting more frequently and gaming the system for thumbnails/clickbait titles. I’m not going to throw shade at any RUclipsrs, but I’ve seen terrible videos get tons of views just because they post a ton and have those key words. I look forward to your evolution as a RUclipsr, and I’m glad to be a part of it. To 2025!

imo more watch parties on streams is a good idea, cuz a lot of people watching ur streams like 2 things: your personality, pro cs scene | also those watch parties probably will be popular because of your interesting way of reacting to insane shit in cs

You asked for thoughts on your clips channel, here's my analytical take: If what your currently doing is not working, then change something up until you find a formula that works better! I feel like your clips channel appeals to the broadest potential audience you have. Perhaps the content that previously performed well on that channel is not the exact type of content that is currently put out? I see that your current clips content is more advanced tips, where your top performing clips videos are viral pug style clips or more general tips. (does that correlate to your channel's growth? would be interesting to know!)
I strongly believe RUclips's algorithm takes into account Click Through Rate (CTR) to determine whether videos should be pushed or not. If current subscribers are not clicking on videos or watching past a ~10sec threshold, that could negatively affect RUclips's chance of sharing the video further. This means it's important to cater clips videos to a more general audience. That's just my assumption/opinion but you'd have to look into your analytics as you mentioned. 😄
As someone who looks at social analytics full time, I would recommend you test out a few things.
    1. Try new videos in the same style of your previous top performing videos.
    2. Intentionally test new styles of hooks (visual, audio, script differences)
    3. Determine what other content creators make similar content to you, and see what works for them. (could be creators who's demographic is another language, although not sure how easy it would be to analyze that content haha)
    4. Increase the quantity of clips to improve the odds of more clips going viral. IMO the nature of a clips channel is that some will go super viral and expose you to a ton of new faces.
Hope this helps and is not unsolicited 😅 Reach out if you need anything else.

With you clips thing, there's a great video from another Austin about why this is happening, named Austin McConnell where he talks about why he doesn't recommend youtube channels anymore. But youtube algorithm doesn't care about subscriptions as much anymore, and especially in shorts you will see much less subscriber growth as youtube will still show your videos to people that like them, so they don't feel the need to subscribe.
