- Two years ago I quit my job to become a full time content creator and I often show you what my days look like, so today you are going to hang out with my mountain man and boyfriend Christoffer and see what a day in his life looks like! About Cecilia:
Cecilia Blomdahl is originally from Sweden and moved to Svalbard 7 years ago. She works as a photographer and videographer in Longyearbyen, and with her social media channels. Thank you so much for being here and for watching! Olivia's mushroom and blue cheese burger recipe:
2 eggs,
1 red onion,
3 cloves of garlic,
6dl chopped mushroom,
salt and pepper,
2tbs soy sauce,
2tbs dijon mustard,
2dl shredded cheddar,
80-150g blue cheese,
1.5dl panko/bread crumbs,
0.5dl flour, 3tbs dried thyme. Mix it all, let it rest for 15min before making patties, cook on the grill or in the oven on 175c. Enjoy! 😍

Oh my word this was a soothing watch! The tone is so different from usual, but unexpectedly good. It reminds me of a high quality documentary that doesn't jump about or have loads of filler, but lets the story unfold naturally with all the pauses, gaps and quiet time. We might have to have one of these vids a few times a year please!

As a Michigan girl even I do pants at 15 F but hubby is just going to start to consider pants at 15. At say 22 he’s totally getting the mail in shorts :)
I'm in Minnesota (U.S.) and many in the area are of Scandinavian and German descent. It's not uncommon to see people underdressed for winter weather. Last weekend, it was -5 F and I still ran into people in gym shorts while running errands.

Me too. I live in Mexico. So you can imagine. 10 Celsius is cold for me.
I ride my bike 6km to work and home again (12km total) every day in those temperatures. Not bad when you are used to it.

Christoffer’s voice reminds me of Erik Braa, a narrator of Sleep Stories in the CALM meditation app. That’s definitely a compliment coming from me. This was so peaceful. I could watch hours and hours of Christoffer’s silent films 😂

I love this video. It made me chuckle so much in a couple spots. The comparison between Cecilia and Grim, the close ups of the candy bars, the fluffy pants. How great to see what Christoffer does. And how wonderful you have such a loving and supportive partner in life. No small thing! Me too, but you do get acclimatised. I remember going to Cyprus in sweltering hot 30°C plus temperatures, in February/March, and seeing school children going to school muffled up in scarves and bobble hats! Even here in the UK, 12°C in spring seems a whole lot warmer than 12° just after the summer.
@@AnnBurgess00 Yep. I live in the NorthEast US. One winter, I had to do a business trip in Florida. I wore spring clothes. I was outside our office building one day, and there was a guy all bundled up (coat, hat, etc) smoking a cigarette. It's all relative. 😀
Was -3 this morning catching the bus to work and almost had to skate there as my street was frozen. I much prefer the cold in the UK to 30c+ heatwaves in the summer

Christoffer speaks such clear Swedish. I often have a hard time understanding people when they speak Swedish. But his voice and word pronunciation is clear and makes it so much easier to follow!. Maybe he should starting teaching Svenska and Norsk to learners! :)

Same here. Studied Swedish in school for 9 years but it’s been a long time so I’ve forgotten most of it. I usually understand Finnish Swedish the best but Christoffer speaks so clearly I don’t need the subtitles.
Maybe it’s the fact that he’s living in a Norwegian-speaking area. It must make communicating a lot easier, speaking without a thick accent.

Such a lovely episode. I know Christoffer doesn’t like to be in front of the camera but you can definitely tell he’s becoming more relaxed. It’s so difficult to be vulnerable in front of a camera, so major kudos and a big thank you to him for sharing his day with all of us. It’s so wonderful to see his sweet, calm personality come out, as well as his quiet humor. It’s easy to see why you like him. 😉
