- In this video I hook up with my cousin Mike Burnette and head of for a few hours fishing from the Kayaks. We went fishing just off Sorento point in Dalkey County Dublin and went out to Dalkey Island for a quick visit. I will be visiting again next year and take a wander around the island, so stay tuned for that video.. An absolutely beautiful area on and off shore! Really worth a visit if you are in or close to Dublin. We find it hard to believe that its been about 25 years since we had last been fishing together. We used to fish the river Liffey and the Blessington lake in Wicklow regularly when we were kids. It feels like it was only yesterday! A really great day and thank you Mike! I hope we get out for many more trips in 2022..

Great video, i thought for sure youd be swimming there near the end, fair play testing the stability of the kayak to the limit, product review and fishing 😂

Nice to see you out sea fishing. Just around the bend from Sorrento point would be an ideal place for a kayak. I really have to get myself one after all these years fishing mostly sea. Oh, I re-subbed, since RUclips seems to go on a schizoid un-subbing spree too often.

Hi Joe, I have a tarpon 120. Super kayak , I traded last one in as it was a bit heavy and long. Tarpon seems to be the perfect all-rounder

@@WildIrishSoul fresh water and sea i love sea fishing an lakes and rivers....just found uot its 25 quid for a permit for a kayak in blesso lakes and most fisherey places....but if i was at the lakes i would be a pleasure cruise not fishing....anyway thanks for the reply....was the tarpon 120 bought in Ireland? or from abroad
@@ahmelmahay Ah yeah, €30 for kayak and €30 to fish, 2 separate licenses, . I like the diversity of the sea and its unpredictable nature excites me a bit too 😅 I got the tarpon from i-canoe in Lucan. The also have 10ft versions . A good solid well made kayak 👌👍
