In this POV (point of view) video I go out sea fishing from the kayak , catch and cook a few Mackerel and have some great encounters with a pod of harbour Porpoises and a young Seagull.     Mepps Aglias, 0's & 1's, Copper were the best producing lures, i had 3 '4 Lb+ trout. Pike without a trace just cut you, teef. Lot's. Teef.

Sea sickness tablets are a must for me 😆 when I forget to take them it's not long before I'm reminded 😅 you will absolutely love it if you're into fishing.     Excellent video. I have a kayak, bought it two years ago and still not used it, planning to take it out on maiden voyage before end of September. I have an electric motor that fits through the middle of the kayak for when I get tired paddling, I am 63 now and wish I was your age again, i would be out on the water all the time. watching your videos is almost like being out there with you. 🚣‍♂🤩

      Hi Dave . I didn't get out much this summer unfortunately. Sea fishing is really super fun.. You'd be looking at approx 2k all in safety gear etc etc .

      @cabbageturnips Well worth the money . Everything wears really well once you rinse with fresh water afterwards.. if you don't, zips etc seize with the salt . And can be costly . Good luck with the saving and hope to see you out there sometime 👍😁

    Try to avoid the psilocybe semilanceata and the amanita muscaria, or you might start talking to the cookware. Weirder still, they'll probably talk back.🤣 Great video, and that cook-up looked really tasty.

    🇮🇪 A day out on the bog with the ladies. Not like visits I had to the bog when I was a kid 😅😆 This was a little less grueling.. We foraged what we could to make up a real Vit-Hit pot of tea. We used Spruce tips, Sorrel, and Pineapple weed.. The wild Strawberries never made it to the pot and thankfully neither did the Grasshoppers 🤭 Such simple fun 👌

    I used to fish the Liffey in Dublin a few years back, at Islandbridge. Used to catch a fair few fish. Lots of roach and perch, the odd brown trout and sometimes eels. Mind you this is going back to 2010/2011 so I wouldn't know how it's fishing these days.

      Really ? There are some grest spots on the liffey when water has a bit of depth.. Yeah , I have memories of much more productive fresh water fishing from years ago compared with now .. I used to catch eels in Ballymore stretch of the liffey in Kildare . Haven't seen one in fresh water for 20 years anyway for some reason

    Looks so fun to pick, berries are so expensive in the shops and they offer so much nutrition. I did not know there was wild blueberries growing in UK, I just knew it mostly grew in America, Canada or other parts of Europe. I live in London and always go wild blackberry picking in greenspaces near me. But blueberries are my favourite, the ones you have picked look succulent and big. I hope to one forage for wild ones.

      Hello @mia , yes very expensive indeed . There are many wild berries and fruits in the wild here in Ireland and I'm sure also in the UK once we can find them.     Its great to develop interest amongst the kids, the next generation of ecologists - side note: their skin is extremely sensitive as it acts as a lung while they're in the water, also a license it required to handle them.

      Absolutely Ronan.. I AGREE.. Dont think ill be applying for any license to be honest! The world has gone mad enough. Soon we wont be allowed to leave our house! Dont forget your freedom! Did you feel free when you were a kid on your wild outings looking for newts etc?.. I assume so.. Shouldnt we feel like this when we are adults also?!
