Dom this makes me so happy to hear 😄 some of my lowest moments have been during job searches. It’s an emotionally charged time. Glad I could ease it in some way!
Hi Madeline Mann, Your videos are very helpful for me. I am trying to get remote work opportunity in LinkedIn. Could you provide some tips for the remote opportunity in LinkedIn?
Hi Madeline, I truly love your videos, thanks a lot for what you're doing. My question is: Is it ok to endorse someone you don't know? Yes, it's in my connection but I have never spoken to that person. Thank you in advance!
Thank you again another awesome video. I’m trying to move careers to the Crypto/Blockchain industry (Will try to apply for a Customer Service Lead role at Coinbase) but I just don’t enjoy social media, public profiles that much. Having the hardest time with LinkedIn bc it’s a requested link on the application. I never used LinkedIn. Any tip/s for people like me? 🤔🥺😂🙏🙏🙏
Hello Madeline! New subscriber here! Curious about what your opinion is on midlife career changes and what should or shouldn't be included in the LinkedIn profile. I'm leaving the union construction industry and going back to school for cybersecurity and information assurance. Should I not include any of my construction experience, certifications and licenses and just keep my LinkedIn profile strictly based on any IT experience I may have?
You can upload an image of it in your About section or experience section (click the pencil icon and “upload media”). You can also indicate it in the certifications section of the profile.
Charlike Mike Reagent Thanks! When you add people on LinkedIn and they reject your request they can hit “I don’t know this person” - this flags your profile as spam. If you connect with those who have “I never IDK” on their profile, they will accept you and not report you. If you get reported as few as 5 times your profile may become restricted from sending future connection requests. This is why it is important to not spam random people with connection requests 😊
@@SelfMadeMillennial Yea, I researched later. :D I'm on Linkedin for years, just before 4-8 months upgraded it and started to use it more often and keep it up to date. Organic reach is insane.
@@SelfMadeMillennial Um no, meant that I just updated it with my things. Before that, it was kinda empty. I even didn't try the free Premium yet :D And I should, it definitely will boost the things a lot, haha.

Yes focus your profile on your new career. If any of your skills were transferable from your previous career highlight those.
@@SelfMadeMillennial Thank you!
Oh hey, today actually is my birthday!
Daniel, you have been such a fantastic viewer, this one is for you buddy. 😄
Nice video, I am seeking your advice for something, If I got a new certificate like PMP, how can I show it on my profile on Linkedin ?
You can upload an image of it in your About section or experience section (click the pencil icon and “upload media”). You can also indicate it in the certifications section of the profile.
And you didn't say what the heck "i never idk" means. But cool one anyway.

Charlike Mike Reagent cool! Which upgrade did you get, and how do you like it? I only have experience with LinkedIn Recruiter
