I mean to be fair, a lot of the hate towards overwatch/blizzard is warranted. The game as of now is really fun but let’s not act like it didn’t take blizzard 2 years to finally make ow2 enjoyable.

A little detail to add to season 8. By the time it was implemented most of the team went on holidays, so pretty much no one was available to do hotpatches like we now have, therefore we got stuck for a month with Mauga Meta for a long time. At least it was better than the year of goats
nah anything post ow2 season 8 has been utter garbage in my opinion, the hp rework kills any form of fast paced dps playstyle, tracer, genji etc can no longer make solo plays and one shot no matter how good ur mechanics are and it feels miserable
@@Legend_616 its not about balance its about what i said, the quick assasin playstyle and being able to one shot people from full hp is now nearly impossible and kills the fun for me... there is no "being wrong" its my opinion and many others feel the same
I dont understand your comments on season 5 and dive. Due to a lack of communication and coordination dive was not played in the medal ranks (95% of the player base). Only in GM and perhaps Masters dive was effectively played. In the medal ranks dive heroes (!) were played but not dive as a concept (!). I really dont understand you problemizing season 5 as (quote) "one of the worst time of playing the game." Most players consider it being peak overwatch.
Hate on brig all you want but the desire to NOT nerf dive in any shape or form is what led to its downfall. And right now, we are going back to the tracer and winston jail
I'm surprised that you didn't mention just how fucking miserable Sojourn was for the first eight seasons of the game. Literally for half a year straight, Blizzard just LET this character with almost as much mobility as Tracer, with an area denial tool the size of Mei's ult, with a better soldier 76 primary and Widowmaker sniper attached to it, run fucking RAMPANT throughout the game. Not only that, they gave her COMPENSENTORY BUFFS after slapping her on the wrist with shit like reducing her crit modifier on her rail gun which, ✨didn't fucking matter ✨ when that would still do 195 damage - a stray fart would end up killing any 200 hp squishy afterwords (or god forbid you were tracer.) Oh, and she would end up just getting pocketed by Mercy which let her have her one shot back until basically the Season 9 change, and her railgun was changed from 30-130 to 1-100.

its possible some people prefer more parts of ow2 rather than ow1 . both had extremely high highs and very low lows it depends on how each player weighs every individual aspect of both games :)
I believe 6v6 was also made that number was because a 5v6 has a higher chance of winning then a 4v5. especially with how roles play a big part with who dies in a 5v5, compared to 6v6

You were so unfair to season 5. For the casuals, the dive comp was just a fun strat that needed a skill to actually pull it off, you made it sound like it was as powerful as the goats. There were other strong comps during that time like Pharmacy, the Zarya+Rien with a Hanzo DPS and a Locio support, and Genji was pretty counterable. Even in the pro arena, players would pick charecters like Widowmaker with no problem.
You know what i hate about the current season tho? If you open the game, not know what date it is, you would not know about the halloween event except one little orange text BELOW the my hero academia colab text, before it was like "oooooh halloween, spoooookkyyyy background" now what? Now we get the bad (imo) deku skin and the other ok skins and not even a cool new pve mode in adlersbrunn, they just added some passive abilities into pvp and called it a day >:(

this vid is mostly a yap session. Season 5 Dive meta was considered some of the best and you missed most of of OW2 seasons. Keller had nothing to do with the greedy corpa decisions Blizzard instilled on them. The downfall of Blizzard started when they merged with Activision, but for more deepdive analysis, I recommend watching a video of the creator by the name of Flats that goes over an article, which talks about the shifting mindsets of people working at Blizzard under Bobby Kotick etc. Even if you don't like Flats, he makes good points and goes over the entire article - which, in return, explains EVERYTHING that happened to Overwatch while switching from 1 to 2
It's sad because I'm a minor and they got rid of the feature to add people and they got rid of voice chat so I can't talk to people I can't add people I can't invite people it's really just alone and it's a social game And just really bad Sombra was one of my favorite heroes top 5 to be exact and they got rid of her they butchered her so now it's just like really bad can't even play her 😔

My guy, hero limits began in season 1 shortly after launch. Nowhere close to season 5.
