The most deep and heartful material came from this era of tallica. The fans expectations ruined all freedom of expression from hetfield. No other metallica album will come close to load and re-load for truth and raw metallica.
You'd think, but I don't think he/they care one way or the other. They make albums and songs for themselves. St. Anger was just as heartfelt. 72 Seasons definitely has heart. They did change musically though after Reload, and I'd love for them to return to that vibe. I love Load/Reload.
Love this song & couple others off Load/ reload. Too much filler could have made 1 Album, good tunes. After they Turned Kill em All, RTL& Master of P, shit the rest is just gravy. Enjoy any & all of 1 of best Live/ studio bands ever. Never be disappointed 💯🔥

I am lucky enough to have been at this very concert. After 11 years I am still coming back to these recordings, that was a special evening. I have seen Metallica 8 times between 2003 and 2019 and this concert is just so far above all the others. Grand.

I believe that missing Rock am Ring 2008 was the biggest mistake of my life at this point. I have never heard a Metallica concert with a setlist like this (Bleeding me, Fade to black, Die die my darling...)and the quality of each song truly sounds like a recorded piece not just live performance. It's genius. It's amazing. Wish I was there.

One of my favorite Metallica songs (Disposable Heroes is still the best though). I don't care what people say, Load was a MASTERPIECE. It wasn't thrash, but it was a masterpiece nonetheless.
