You nailed it for me I’ve been unhappy with my ammo so bear creek is getting my business 😊
They are serious about their ammo. Thanks for watching!
The cva scout in 350 legend is a sweet combo for sure. I shot an 11 point this past weekend in Mississippi with it. I haven't shot anything but the box of ammo I bought with it the Winchester deer season xp in 150 gr.
A family friend of ours helped design those bullets bear creek used his rifle as a bullet tester with a 20" barrel
It's a small world. That's pretty awesome!
If you are gunning for the fastest load you could check if a boutique is loading the 100 grain Lehigh Xtreme Defense in 350 Legend. I for sure couldn’t resist handloading the thing 😂
That would be lightning fast for sure! Thanks for watching!
Great video sir I am interested in the 140 grain round tip. Have you chronographed actual velocity with your 16 inch barrel? -W. Liggett
I have not. Just going by what the box says. But for me, these copper bullets worked the best out of this particular gun. Thanks for watching!
What is that camo pattern and where did you get that rifle?
Sportsman's Warehouse in Tennessee. Not sure there is a name for the camo. It's CVA camo.
I did the same, only 25 and 100. At 200 was 8" low
That's right where we want to be. Thanks for watching!
300 yards is a long shot for the 350 L. I have no trouble keeping them on the vitals of a deer shape target at 300 yards, but the energy is too low. For hunting over 200 I will stick with my 244 Rem, 6.5 C or 270.
I agree. This gun was strictly used for Illinois. It's not my first choice for hunting whitetails and especially at 300 yards. Thanks for watching!
I’m goin to underwood ammo (in Illinois) I’m local to them so I’m goin out there this week they have a few .350 options using Lehigh and Barnes bullets they have one that apparently comes out of a 22” barrel at near 3000fps I can report back iv used all kinds of their ammo and it is par none been using .300bo pistol here using their ammo up until they took ars out of the game 😡
That's super fast.
You thinking you like these better than the 160s for huntin? Have 2 of the cva 350 legends and want an upgrade over winchester 180s
Yes because they won't drop as much over the distance.
Try Hornsby Black 150gr Interlock. 2500fps!
@@dustinmccain1215 That's fast for sure!
Well i bought 2 boxes of 140s but didnt try them... was still usin my 450 bushy with black butterfly ammo
I use the 160 grain bear creek ammo for hunting whitetails and I'm not changing. My gun likes the 160's and they do a good job.
Terrible groupings, if you're not touching same hole at 25 and 50 I'd be changing ammo or gun. At 100 yards mine is a cloverleaf
I shot the gun recently at 25 yards, I put 3 shots all touching inside a dime. The day I made this video, it was an off day I guess. Probably has a lot to do with me walking backing and forth running the camera and getting me out of breath. Thanks for watching.
I use the same ammo for the 450 bushmaster I can clover it with the CVA cascade. It’s really good ammo very consistent not like factory ammo
I agree, just shot My Ruger 350 2 days ago. Ruger GO WILD 22in barrel shooting factory Hornady 165gr FTX and at 50 yds same hole 1 in high. I was shocked at these groups also. By the way I am 70 yrs old., that and the Hornady's are half the price almost.
