What a relief! I could not get that bolt out of the sensor going to the gear housing. Once I did I was like what the heck is this funky looking bolt for? Seeing how it worked for to use a smaller bolt and nut, I am a=going to get under my 94 YJ and give this a go with the new sensor. Thank you very much Whisky Drankers! Bottoms up.
what was the size bolt for the sensor

Any suggestion for if the speedometer and sensor works when take it out and put a drill on it but when attached the speedometer needle does nothing?

I purchased a new speedometer but I didn't find the wiring harness
So please can you show me where is it located so I can figure out something
Maybe you can help me I just got a 1990 yj and even in park the speedo is jumping all over and when running it’s going from 0 to over 100 it’s just jumping all over the place
That sounds to me like it might be a wiring problem. Maybe check to see if there's any wiring that's had its coating worn off or broken like in this video.
what size is the bolt
The first plug on my YJ won’t even budge. It’s so stuck in there and I don’t know what to do

It didnt work at all. Just a dead needle.
@@WhiskeyDrankers ahh ok, mine kinda jumps up quick and I can't get past 40ish mph. I figure it should go faster in 4th gear though..
