2011 - 2015 Lincoln MKX - How To Add A New Keypad Code To The Driver's Door Key Pad

A quick video tutorial on how to add a new code to the driver's door keypad on a 2011 - 2015 Lincoln MKX. In order to be able to add a new or additional code to the keypad that is located on the drivers door of your Lincoln MKX, you will need the permanent factory key pad code. I added a new code (which i did not write down) and now the factory code does nothing!
Also, the power lock button on the doors no longer function!
What happened??

it sounds like the battery in the vehicle may have died. The permanent factory code can never be erased
