$69 at Brake Check yesterday 2/2/22 oh. Just noticed the date !! Wow 2019 Scatpack plus only has 24k miles. Crazy I had to replace pads so soon. Will need new rotors next.
Another helpful tip is to wobble the rotor around when removing and reinserting pads so you don't need to hammer them in 👍 They are free floating rotors so take advantage
next time turn the wheel..that will help you out alot...my brembos on my camaro are horrible two.. looks like i will have to get a set after i see how they work for you...good job bro
Imstruggling to find the wide body parts that aren't OEM. Have you had any luck? I bought the Z26 and they said they didn't fit when I tried to get them installed.
21k miles now and there appears to be plenty of pad life left. Dusts way less than stock, it's not even close. Performance is slightly less than factory but I don't notice it anymore. I'd recommend.
The dealership wants $500 plus to change the front pads.
Best believe I’ll have this vid playing while I change mine!
Thanks Bro!

What size socket are you using? 21mm or 22mm?

Those OEM semi-metallic pads cause so much dust and they eat up the rotor.
Bro you have no wheel locks on your car I’ll send you a set of locks for free man before you end up on bricks
Center pin/bolt torque is 24 Ft lbs
Apparently some folks have broken these with over tightening, this unique hardware is hard to source.
I have warranty on my scat pack and I got warranty do brakes come included ?
As i’m sure you already found out, warranties do not cover wear parts, brakes, belts, tires, filters, etc.
I’m trying to change my front rotors and pads on my 2021 Scatpack with 6 piston brembos and I hoping these would fit
I’m here for the same thing
I didn’t know Ray Romano did brakes, lol

How fast did the new pads warp the rotors?
Good vid post. Thanks. But just for kicks, I would have just use an adjustable wrench for hammer just to complement the drill bit. :-)
What's the difference in z23 and z26 pads guys?
Is their any other steps before driving off?
Thank you!

So far so good, drastic reduction in brake dust and still stops just fine for daily driving.
Did you notice and squeaking, and also, did they cut down on brake dust?
Welp...just have to rest the rest of my AutoGlym Rim Protector until then lol. 2021 Scat Pack Challenger with Dynamic package...still in transit....
Can u tell me the part info for that nylon lug wrench u used,
that thing is perfect
How's the brake life with these pads? Do the last long or wear out quick?
I've put close to 30k miles on them. Still plenty of pad left.
where did you get your rotors? they don't look stock rotor for 6piston brembos either.
Rotors are 100% stock for a 2017.
@@SRTorque Thank you so much for the quick response, yes I did more research and those are stock rotors for former 6piston Brembos.
I’ve got the same dilemma with the brake caliper bracket do they both work?
What about the rears?
Have you seen a significant reduction in dust though?
It was a huge reduction
If you really want to be ocd torque lug nuts starting at 50 then 75 then 110 each time in a star pattern.
Most people fix that with Ceramic coating ur wheels. Keeps the brake dust off
This is an old video. My wheels are now ceramic coated. It might help but it definitely doesn't make the wheel brake dust proof.
Can you recommend any pads made in USA and not made in china like Powerstop?
Lol bro don’t be afraid cuz it’s made in china bcuz best believe these companies aren’t
....AND I!......put on AutoGlym Wheel Protector so....I don't see any brake dust at all lol good vid though.
How long does the rotors last?
I have a widebody and I’m currently debating brembo pads or the ones you installed. Any help ?
I believe all widebodies have 6 piston brakes, I'd definately get some powerstop pads over brembos if you don't want dusty rims 24/7.
@@SRTorque is there any performance difference between the 2?
My oem currently squeal at 21k miles
I noticed a small performance reduction. Forgot about it after a few says. As a daily driver/show car I was okay with the trade-off.

Are the part numbers z26 1405 and z26 1053 for the front and the rear?
Looks correct to me.
@@SRTorque awesome thanks sir!
The lube does not go on the pads! It goes on the edges of the pads.
it goes on both bro lol
@@trunkslorenzana you put it where the piston hits the back of the pad and around the edges.
Good video 📹 👍 bro
What’s your long term review on the pads? How’s the dust, life and performance? Thanks
21k miles now and there appears to be plenty of pad life left. Dusts way less than stock, it's not even close. Performance is slightly less than factory but I don't notice it anymore. I'd recommend.
Thanks
A 28min video and it only takes 5 min to change the pads. Didn't even consider watching 😕
