You didn’t mention a couple of facts - Energy has armed guards and very strong security. Given all the insecurity in the city these days it does add a certain level of comfort. Second the building is practically a brothel, not kid friendly don’t bring your family!
I used to stay there but there's too many rules and the 10pm music cutoff sucks. I got 2 warnings one night it was 4 of us in the apartment just talking with music in the background and security kept coming up. Meanwhile there's other parties in the building going on til 5am. Then the 1 hour pool sucks as well and not being able to bring drinks up there makes you not even want to go lol. I looked for a few other spots in the area with less rules and much better experience
Well I stay in jan 16 to 24 this year I had no issue with the music I guess I stay at in the 10 floor and they cant hear music but we have smal speaker nothing that is extremely loud but best hotel in medellin period high standard rooms and services and best views
What is the most value oriented hotel you stayed at around the $50 -$70 mark? I liked the Landmark in Manila and Urban 14 for Provenza for that price range. I’d like to see what $150 gets you in the El Centro hood. Haven’t stayed in an Airbnb yet in Medellin, but stayed in a bunch of Wynnewood Airbnb’s in Bogota.
el centro doesn't have much for $150 and nothing nice, you're capped out around $70 in el centro but the ones I've seen for that price in el centro, you can get something much nicer in poblado

They gave my ONE guest a hard time and wouldn't allow a second visitor. I rented airbnb through their property manager...
