The video showcases the love-hate relationship the goblin has with Pouya. In the beginning, he was trying to honor his friend Pouya by making a clay figurine of him. As he was listening to the music he made with Pouya back in the day, he remembered the time he threw a magic show for Pouya and Pinky. Pinky didn't care for the magic show, and siphoned away whatever attention Pouya had for his friend's magic show. This caused the goblin's magic to be disrupted, and he ended up pulling the top of a hare's head out of a hat instead of the whole hare. He also remembered how the marriage invitation had, "no magicians allowed" and it triggered him that his best friend Pouya wouldn't let him attend his wedding. Enraged by this memory, the goblin started breaking and sawing things in half, and ripping posters of Pouya off the wall. He couldn't bear it anymore, so he took Pouya's clay figurine and placed it inside a toy house. Little did he know that this would trigger memories of their old times together, such as when they used to play video games together- good old times with his best friend. It also reminded the goblin of his sick mom and how he took care for her, and the sick saxophone solo he recorded one time with Pouya for one of their songs together. All those bittersweet memories were now slowly fading away, as he couldn't help but recall all the times he got sidelined by Pouya over the years.
I believe the goblin is a figure of his old self, his friends and fam. His journey with coco sidelined alot of time, memories, and just instances where he missed out on alot. Times he wasnt there for friends and fam cause he was too stuck on coco, times he wasnt even there for himself. You can never get that time back. Thus in the ending its too far gone and still effecting him. No happy ending.
