I’m so happy that you guys made a video that perfectly encapsulates what the sobriety/breaking free from addiction journey is like. Eventually you hit a point where you’ve made so much progress in life & have been away from your addictions for a long time yet you miss them at times but know you can’t ever go back. It’s like you’ve been able to adjust physically with all the progress you’ve done, but there is still this feeling of numbness & depression. I’ve had this same struggle with severe addiction and we’ve had almost the same timeline on getting clean.. so it was amazing when this came out & I was going through this exact same thing.

@@aaronmurphy4030 I think that if you're an addict you can recognise yslf when listening to $B, and just seeing that you're not alone suffering through addiction can give you the strength to not take any...well yh it's pretty weird, like listening to love songs during an heartbreak can hurt or help you. I think it depends on the person. My advice would be to not listen to them 7/7 if you think too much about the high, or try listening it as a whole new world, one where all your suffering is understood, accepted and not judged so you can become good again step by step, thanks to this world made of music.

@@aaronmurphy4030 I think that if you're an addict you can recognise yslf when listening to $B, and just seeing that you're not alone suffering through addiction can give you the strength to not take any...well yh it's pretty weird, like listening to love songs during an heartbreak can hurt or help you. I think it depends on the person.
My advice would be to not listen to them 7/7 if you think too much about the high, or try listening it as a whole new world, one where all your suffering is understood, accepted and not judged so you can become good again step by step, thanks to this world made of music.
