What I love about this is how much Sheamus opens up during this interview. At the beginning he mentions not wanting to repeat himself over and over, and by the end he's just going into all sorts of thoughts and philosophies. I think that speaks to how much of a banger Chris is at interviews.
41:24 This is the EXACT reason why Sheamus has such a massive fan base & garners such adulation! This exact notion of the immense passion he has for pro wrestling, not every performer does it for the paycheck! Some do it for the comradery, The artistic expression they can convey to the fans, the larger-than-life personality they can showcase, and the emotional & physical energy given in stiff matches just shoot dopamine through their body. Some performers do it just for the LOVE of the sport. Performers like Daniel Bryan, AJ Styles, Finn Bálor, Cody Rhodes & many others. The guy is a complete workhorse & has paid his dues for the company, hopefully he gets the recognition he’s earned for so many years he’s entertained fans. He was truly a special talent during the “PG” era, especially on Smackdown!
Every person story and interview is different These interviews are done by the person but in character Seth rollins interview wasn't done by Colby Lopez (his real name)
I liked him around that time too when he had the world title. I was about 11 or 12 years old around then and I loved him as world champion because he did put on good matches in my opinion
This man right here is severely underrated. He’s on my personal all time favorite list for the fact that he’s been around so long because he does very little but makes everything have meaning.
I still have Sheamus and John Cenas stretching video saved! Hell yeah Fella, love ya Sheamus. As always Chris, exceptional work, wonderful questions and conversation.
Clash At The Castle 2022. Sheamus match against Gunther opened my eyes that Sheamus was underappreciated. Ever since then anytime there's a Sheamus match I make sure I watch
SHEAMUS AYO. God, I was a fan ever since seeing him in ECW, then when he came to RAW and broke out. HE was one of the reasons I stayed keeping up with WWE honestly, cause of how bored I felt at the time with it. Sheamus is great, deserves an IC title run one day.
Saw sheamus on raw at a dark match back in September. First time being at a live show and man the pop he got was huge. Very respected man nowadays and he still a hell of an athlete, i use to hate him so much back in the day but cant deny this guy is talented and deserves all his success. Thank you Sheamus!!
As Usual, CVV always making banger after banger interviews and this one also a banger since he just one with *"The Master of Banger"* and *"The Celtic's Banger Warrior"* himself
58:50 IWC was more concentrated on Burger after Burger than his return entrance with Written In My Face. And then it was inevitable that he's getting def rebelled
I think it was an awkward move to have him get his own entrance theme back. He had such an amazing reinvention that going back to his old persona felt more like a downgrade. At that point they were just going for nostalgia instead of what Sheamus was capable of.
Been a fan since first saw you back in the day on FCW as Sheamus O'Shawnessy before they shorted it to just Sheamus and came in and feuded with Triple H that feud solidified my Fandom of Sheamus n been a fan ever since! Thanks for the memories and insight, FELLA!!!! ❤
Always loved Sheamus, so glad he's getting his flowers so much more nowadays I always thought he was a hell of a worker - like every other talent had some bad creative at times for awhile and remember people turning on him a bit for awhile. But he's a top tier worker and in time he's made it undeniable for all to see. I feel like I remember the tide really changing leading into this "banger after banger" version of Sheamus with his feud with Cesaro leading into The Bar and he's just been a "Bar" since just putting on solid showings forever now. Making us Irish folks proud. Would love to see him have his IC title win moment and then him & Ilja Dragunov have a feud over it. Last side remark: His line about "Theyll slap ya in the balls like check yourself, we know you,.... you need people like that" (if you feeling yaself a lil too much) is 100000000% my Irish family energy and i agree totally.
Saw Sheamus at Survivor Series 2024 and our whole section had some Ludwig fans, but we were all pretty surprised/disappointed when Sheamus didn't pull out the ring. The energy behind him was incredible. Always loved this fella!
Seeing the IC title triple threat at mania 39 in person was an unforgettable experience. If you weren't there, they didn't show it on the broadcast but after the match Sheamus and Drew gave each other a hug and both got a standing ovation. Was an awesome moment
4:37 - Chris Definitely needs to get The Rock on one of these long interviews! Surely he can spare an hour or 2 by inviting Chris at Titan Towers!?? 😂🙌
@above.average.gaming.natio3026 However, he won't receive any reaction from the crowd with the terrible new theme. We all know how important theme songs are; make the crowd dance/laugh/sing once, and suddenly, you get a title shot 🙄 you don't have a good theme you'll get lost in the shuffle. This is WWE's new direction. Sadly, it isn't about having a character and being skilled at wrestling and talking anymore.
The fact that CVV does not have MORE than 1 mil subs is a sin. He has put so much talent over by putting them on this show, its not even funny. He is SUCH a vital piece of the WWE and wrestling-world success!
This was a banger interview! Sheamus is my favourite wwe wrestler. His matches with Drew and The Ring General were fantastic. I really hope he wins the IC title belt one day.
I have been a fan of Sheamus since around 2012 (maybe earlier than that). I've enjoyed everything I've seen him do. The cash-in on Roman Reigns in 2015 was one of my favorite moments of his career. I'm just so happy he was able to come back to wrestling and I love to see him getting his flowers from everybody these days. Definitely a future Hall of Famer
Sheamus is my favourite Wrestler of all time. Thank you CVV for interviewing the Celtic Warrior, I really hope he wins his well deserve IC title and become the Ultimate Grand Slam Champion!!!
I was blessed to be there at Mania 39 and Sheamus, Drew and Gunther were hitting hard as fuck. You can hear the impact way up in the stadium those men were Banging fr !
I've been watching WWE since late 2009/early 2010. So I've been pretty much been watching Sheamus' entire WWE career and I've always have and will be a fan of this man
I am one of those who didn't thing anything of Sheamus in the early 2010s. But he's never changed. He just brings it every single match, and it's great he's gotten his flowers these days. Never anything wrong with a wrestler whose M.O. is, "I just punch and kick people really hard."
I didn't care about Sheamus, but I ended up appreciating his work in the thunderdome and now is one of my absolute favorites. The day he becomes grand slam would be one of the best days in wrestling world.

You... dont know how to use that word correctly....
100%. People should take notes from Chris at this point. I don’t think that he even knows how awesome of an interviewer he is.
Great way to start off the day listening to your podcast
Have a great day!

Chris should steal "banger after banger", because that's what his interviews are.
They're all the exact same 😂😂
@@DatBoiChris420 not by a long shot 🤔

I’m happy to say I was one of the people that liked Sheamus in 2012/13.
I liked him around that time too when he had the world title. I was about 11 or 12 years old around then and I loved him as world champion because he did put on good matches in my opinion
I thought he was stale until his mohawk era, i finally became a fan😂😂
The way he destroyed jamie noble early on, i knew he was going to stick
I know the day he retires ima be sad
same here, glad he's getting his flowers nowadays

Finally my fav superstar, since his debut... Even better, Sheamus is a Liverpool fan. YNWA Sheamo !
This interview was a bona fide banger!
Great job as usual CVV.
Sheamo, you are one of the best.
Clash At The Castle 2022. Sheamus match against Gunther opened my eyes that Sheamus was underappreciated. Ever since then anytime there's a Sheamus match I make sure I watch
You have no idea how long i waited for a sheamus interview to happen
Sheamus has always been one of my favorites. Thanks guys! Another great interview 😊

Heard you at the Raw after show press conference last night asking Triple H a question. Would be awesome to get him for and full interview.
He deserves the Intercontinental Championship
maybe he can finally win it at Wrestlemania maybe?
Beats bron and sets him up for a world title @@kc270352

Banger of a episode chris
I will always love the interaction he had with Beaker from the Muppets. It was awesome!
Sheamus representing our country brilliantly. Cabra legend
58:44 It's hard to believe that Sheamus is almost a Hall of Famer and still can't choose his own theme song.
Isn't he buddies with Triple H?
maybe not or he would leverage that to finally hold the IC Belt.

Fair play! Sheamus is awesome.
