@@thermosaurus No it isn't. That one has re-recorded vocals. This is the original vocal track. You can tell by the drums as well.

Megadeth's 'My Last Words' has one of the greatest guitar solo finales of all time.

@@DocRoc94 The first 2/3rds of that solo are pretty easy actually. Also The Killing Road gives TOS a run for its money.. Youthanasia just came around during a time when the world was moving past that type of music.

My first concert was the "Clash of the Titans" European 1990 tour. I was a soldier in the US Army stationed in Germany from 1989 to 1991. Took a 2 hour train ride to get to Dusselldorf, Germany where the show was in 1990. Suicidal Tendencies opened up, followed by Testament, then Megadeth, and then Slayer. Megadeth brought the house down. It was the Rust in Peace tour and they were untouchable. They opened with Holy Wars and never let up. Awesome show!

What a ride !!! Back in December 1990 I got really sick. I had problems with my lungs, someone even mentioned tuberculosis. I recovered from that and a few days after I left the hospital (February 1991) I went into a record store to buy Annihilator "Alice in hell" and Megadeth "Rust in Peace". Recorded both of them in a tape cassette. Listened to it for a long time...
I like that you guys listened to the original recording from 1990 and not the over EQed 2004 remaster. One of my favorites.
A genuine Rust in Peace classic. And people often mention Holy Wars..... but forget to mention this one too.
You guys are great, your an inspiration rich, I'm sorry for your loss brother, I couldn't imagine, as a father myself of a beautiful 7 year old girl,the horror and sadness you've experienced over losing your son... I'm truely sorry for that,...I have suffered the loss of y parents both were very young, 56 and 60, and it's destroyed me to this day and they've been gone 2 and6 years now...your inspiration for me is how happy you seem in the short time it's been but I'm feeding off your guys happiness and it along with playing and listening to metal music is helping me a lot, so thank you much for what your doing, I'm enjoying watching your channel and listening to great music!.... God bless brother....love you guys!....

I'm 42 now and I listen metal from '89 when I was 11 years old. In my life I listened not so much Megadeth' songs but in last 3/4 years I totally revalued this band and now I think Dave's one of greatest riff writer, and I think much of their song are really really cool...and this is one of my favourite!

You can always tell when Kel is loving it with her "dancing" eyebrows LOL. It is great seeing someone's reaction to something that I have enjoyed for decades and knowing that they get why it has lasted all that time.
I actually read that book sometime in my teens as a sci-fi-fantasy fan. It was a good book. Heard this a few years later. Best interpretation ever. I love how heavy metal made concept s so epic. No other genre did that better. Keep noodling Kel.

By far my favourite Megadeth song off my favourite Megadeth album.
The harmonious guitars that come in after the bass at the beginning, I can’t help but envisage a wizard casting a spell and making a blue fireball.
There’s a video of them playing this at a sound check and you can just see the intensity in all of them as they thrash it out. Absolutely fantastic.

started out with metallica as a first into metal, then megadeth with rust i piece. That lead guitar playing ''marty friedman'''never expected and heared solos like that and since an avid friedman fan, the guy plays with so much dynamic range and melodie. the guy made me up my guitar playing every day.

You should look into Hank Williams III.He is the grandson of country legend/singer Hank Williams...He does these 4 hour shows where he is in 3 separate bands that play...the first part is a hellbilly/psychobilly/outlaw country band...then he takes a break and comes out with his Doom ultra sludge metal band..then takes a break and comes out with his third band a death/thrash metal band with crazy fast cattle calling auctioneering vocal sound clips over the top of it,all while playing in front of a movie screen with twisted bizarre and acid trip old 8mm film clips going....he is a really talented dude.It is quite the spectacle
