    You used some great Mediterranean flavours on that lamb. Nice and pink, the way lamb should be. Lamb fat is great. My (late) aunt and uncle had raised sheep on their farm in Alberta, Canada. When my (late) maternal grandmother made lamb once, I tried it and loved it ever since. What you described kind of reminds me of the TV show, The A-Team. I remember scenes similar to that. Even though it sounds like a movie scene, or a TV show, it's real life. Cheers, Ry! ✌️

    I just followed this recipe today. Never cooked a lamb roast before, doesn't get better than this. Prepared the lemon mint yogurt sauce first, then the rub, then cooked the lamb on the kettle using pecan chunks. Took it off at 135 and the wife and I enjoyed a great meal. Thanks Ry!

    Made this tonight and invited the neighbors over for dinner. It turned out fantastic and everyone loved it. I added a 1/2 teaspoon more lemon juice and a couple of extra mint leaves to my yogurt sauce. Also smoked mine with a mix of Oregon Oak and Cherry wood. Highly recommend and will be making it again

    I am happy to be one of your followers, and I am a fan of everything you offer.. My question is, can I put the leg of lamb on the grill while it is wrapped in aluminum foil until the last hour, when I remove the aluminum foil in order for the meat to take on a golden color?

    • @CookingWithRy
      @CookingWithRy  Год назад

      I haven’t tried it that way so I can’t be sure of the results. Theoretically if you are cooking to a specific temp it should work, though the color may be different.

    Where does your lamb come from? Is it US grown or from somewhere else? Australia and New Zealand account for about 80% of the lamb traded internationally and Lamb is very popular on the table down here.
    Great video. We often slow cook lamb on the Weber Summit Charcoal. Lamb is an Aussie favourite and because we export so much, us poor locals pay a lot when we fight over what is left!

    I bought olive wood last season to try this season. looking forward to it.
    so, honest answer please.
    I'm planning to buy either a S'n'S or MalloryWare this year.
    if you had to choose one over the other, which one and why?

      It’s pretty obvious in the leg. Most butchers remove it when deboning the leg. But in all honesty I’ve left it in before by not noticing and it’s made no difference if the lamb is cooked properly.
