I think you just did the best way to do a tour have your RV (camper van) home brilliant the only down side you need someone to move it to next campsite 🏕
Absolutely right!! Thankfully we had my amazing mum! I guess that if you had a bike trailer or rack, you could park in the middle like we did, and then clover leaf out to most bits.
I'd like to say a HUGE thank you to your good self A. C. M., A. C. Mum and Ian for a great series. I saw the first couple as soon as they were up and have just had the most enjoyable evening watching the last 6. Please get some more up soon for us all sat at home awaiting the break in the c-vid-19 saga. Loved the cameo from TeaPotOne and the pronunciation lesson, very comical. Take care and keep up the great work.
Thank you Mate. Those old cars were amazing. A great way to spend 18 minutes and 44 seconds watching this. Stay safe and well in these troubling times.
Very kind of you to say so! If only my wife felt the same way! 😆 Yeah the whole summer comment was/is sadly hugely out of context! Funny how sideways things can go in just a few short months.
Good series, thanks for reminding me what it's like to be on a bike and a good bit of escapism! Wife and I did some of the same roads a few years back on a Pan European on a camping trip: yes we had the wet tent, wet waterproofs scenario, never again!. I've now got a brand spanking Kawasaki Ninja 1000SX in the garage. Currently got 250 miles on it and absolutely howling to ride it...may this soon be over!

Hi Andymancam, Thank you all your great footage. Being new to your wonderful channel at the start of shielding through Covid 2020 and now 2021, I have now watched them all and have loved every second except when the bikes get dropped. I brought myself a little Yamaha Virago 535cc( biggest bike I can get for my short height) that was the press release bike back in the day just before Christmas 2019 and only intended to ride it through summer, but due to the shitty covid19 i only sit on him with the garage doors open, dreaming of life after covid when my hubby and I can go on tour together. We had planned to go to Scotland and do pretty much the same as you three did in 2020. Thanks again for sharing your footage. I loved it all. x
Thank you for helping us snow bond riders, only good thing is I rode my snowmobile today in the sunshine. Very nice tour and even though it rained almost none stop.
Great stuff Mr AMC! Was hoping to do NC500 in May, but unlikely to happen now. But hey... watching your tour series was the next best thing. On the subject of waterproofs, I can highly recommend the Scott Ergo Pro jacket and trousers... not cheap, but great kit. I remained completely dry after a 5 hour ride, through northern Italy, in persisting rain last year. They're comfy and a good fit too. 👍
At the present time I wish that the Australian media would inform us about the on going virus situation and not sensationalise it. I realise that it isn’t a pleasant situation but with descriptions like Horror, Catastrophic, Dire, Paranoia, Panic...etc, this doesn’t help keep the public at large calm. I hope it’s better for you at home...not hearing much about Europe here...only Italy. Keep riding and stay safe 👍.
Another excellent, entertaining video, well put together with some great humour thrown in, I’ve enjoyed escaping from the rubbish on the box, well done Andy, stay safe dude.....
Awesome, yes roll on Summer! When you're back Andy, the loop from Tarbet, Lochgilphead, Oban. Also the Spean Bridge road (A86) is a 'belter', as one says. Toodle pip.
Great series there Andy, unfortunate with the weather good excuse to take the bride back, checkout the new Richa laminated gortex suit a bit cheaper than the Rukka/Klim gear but by all accounts a good piece of kit. Stay safe out there
Yeah I've already promised to take the Mrs there some time. Probably won't be on 2 wheels though! Will check out the Richa Gear. Rukka and Klim are definitely a little lumpy for my budget!
End of another great tour. Shame you didnt get the best weather but you had some fantastic moments during that one. Presumably you made it back without incident? I suppose like the rest of us, you're probably guessing when/where you'll be able to go next! Stay safe and thanks again Andy!
Thanks Christopher. I agree. We made the best out of a very wet situation! SUre it wouöd have been better in the sun, but we had a fabulous time regardless! You're absolutely right mate. No idea what the future has in store. Thankfully, if the lockdowns lift at least locally, there is enough to see here in Germany that I should be able to do something! Stay safe yourself mate.
