Once again thanks for your videos... seems I learn something new each time I watch any of your work (play). I am attempting to figure out how to create a single player F/A-18 mission with a wingman. The scenario is we depart airfield #1, we destroy targets along the way to airfield #2 (exhausting weapons), land to re-arm and refuel at airfield #2, then depart to destroy more targets on our way to airfield #3 for mission landing. I am stuck on figuring out how to get my wingman re-fueled and re-armed at airfield #2, and subsequnetly to re-take-off with me to targets along the way to airfield #3. If ME scripting for wingman actions is possible, what ME actions should I be looking at to create this 2-legged mission scenario? Thanks for your time!
Firstly, thanks for your kind words & support Jim, I appreciate it very much brother. I'm at work atm but when I get home later tonight I will set up a small test run with your scenerio & get back to you. Then if all good, maybe send it to you so you can use as a guide if you like. I'm in ED Forum under same name. I think this mission scenario should be ok. I've created quite a few missions with rearm & refuel on route to AO but I can't recall using AI wingman as well. I'll get back to you with this one. In the meantime, check out the Triggers in ME & see if there's an option for rearm & refuel. Not sure, but if so, you could throw down a Zone so when AI passes it, he goes for a rearm & refuel. Also there's the directive via your radio telling him to do so. I haven't used AI with my Hornet for a long time so I'm not too sure. As I said, I will investigate though☝️😉
@@GazAce I appreciate any help since I don't find a rearm or refuel option in ME actions. My plan has been to use a trigger zone located at airfield #2 designated parking spots in the mission and let a "group in zone" condition initiate a rearm, refuel and AI follow for second departure. Thanks!
Nice ! I’m still working on the Lightning Strike mission the one before this one I’m only able to kill 2 so far. Love your practice missions man thanks for sharing them.
Can you make a longer one with different targets and location in the same map with a super carrier stanis for refueling and reloading and go attack again and so on if possible ofcourse 😉
