All that talk of other Kingdom games got my mind whirring, and I had a couple fun ideas: Dwarven Kingdom-you play underground, the map is a tunnel instead of a forest. Maybe swap out the trees for stalagmites and the farms for mushroom patches or something. Kingdom Regrowth-you play as an ent/dryad/other tree creature clearing away rubble from a fallen kingdom and growing plants instead of clearing away trees and building a town. Same mechanics of recruiting followers and fighting greed, but with a new coat of paint. Keflings crossover-I don't know if anyone remembers the Keflings games, but they feel like a perfect fit for a crossover. They're both games where you recruit a bunch of minions to build a town. Just swap out the mounted noble for a giant and you're mostly done. Maybe change out different mounts for different outfits or something. I really like these games too, and I'm excited to see this new DLC! Can't wait for more!
I saw Wanderbot play this and he didn't run away from the rocks that the trophy thing threw into the air He was one shot with all the gems from the first isle...
Fairylands Naturally your characters have a variety of fairy wings, plus a few more mushroom people. Villagers could be gnomes. Instead of trees, you chop down large flowers. You hunt grubs instead of rabbits, and grasshoppers instead of deer. Base horses are still horses, just pastel rainbow colors. Other mounts could be like a mouse, a beetle, an armored ant (or better yet a scorpion), maybe even a spider who shoots webs to slow the greed. The greed base could be in a giant tree instead of cliffside. Inside could be a root system instead of stalagmites & stalactites. And the boat is just a giant leaf. I mean it sounds like it could be fun aesthetically. Edit: I just learned Olympus has a spider mount, who shoots webs.
