I am a former cop, he deserves to be considered innocent until proven guilty, in my experience angry women make false accusations all the time like this and we were always under orders to arrest the man in a domestic dispute even if it appeared it was self defense, granted I was a LEO in a blue area where men are always "guilty".

I have seen friends of mine charged for domestic abuse for simple self defence. With that in mind, I will withhold my judgement until more information is available.

Some jurisdictions have a policy that the cops MUST arrest if there are injuries or some other criteria.
Yeah, in the early 2000's my uncle was the one handcuffed and jailed even though it was his girlfriend that was hitting him and not the other way around. Thankfully, that came to light and he ended up winning custody of my cousin. Ofc, she hasn't paid him child support in years and the State couldn't give a fuck less. If he missed a singular payment, he'd have been in jail long ago.

As a rule until a court is given evidence, we SHOULD be giving eveyrone the benefit of the doubt (unless it's really obvious)

Styx is in New Orleans, Louisiana. Its common in liberal shit holes that if the cops show up, they arrest the man. I had this happen to a buddy of mine and he had a knife in his arm. Jeremy from The Quartering is trying to get him bailed out, but someone has to go in person, as the bail bondsmen won't get him out since Styx is from out of state. It was nuts watching this unfold live this afternoon.

Domestic battery could mean just about anything. He could have thrown something near a family member. He could have threatened a family member. He could have actually hit someone. In America they generally arrest men any time there's any sort of conflict, even if the woman started it and did the majority of the damage. If a woman started hitting a man and the man pushed her off of him, he would get arrested. That's just how the law works here. You're not allowed to defend yourself in any way if you are a man. We need a lot more information before we can say anything.

Bless your heart if you think that's only in the US. We have one such law down here in Brazil, too. My uncle almost got arrested one time because of it. His "woman" is an alcoholic who tends to get violent with him when she drinks. She started trashing the house one time and called the cops. He was confident he hadn't done anything, so he just sat on the living room couch and waited for them. When they got there, the kids he had with her took their mother's side and said to the cop he had hit her. Fortunately, since they were familiar with the situation, the cops told him to get out of there and not come back, so he ended up avoiding getting arrested. Not that he learned anything from it.

It's definitely going to have reverberations - he either has to remain in Louisiana, or *constantly* travel back-and-forth for the multiple court dates, and his bail conditions will bar him from keeping firearms and consuming drugs & alcohol - something he obviously isn't capable of. the way domestic law works in america (im not an expert) if there is a domestic dispute the police HAVE to take someone to jail and the state takes over the case. its called the Duluth model and it was forced into law.
It varies from town, to city, to county to state. It's not standard and certainly not the norm.

When I did jury duty in Illinois, domestic abuse cases were overflowing into other courtrooms (the presiding judge mentioned as such), tying up a lot more judges and lawyers with sometimes frivolous cases.
You can flip a damn coin as to whether he actually did it or not. Then you can flip another as to whether the violence was mutual and instigated by the women.
At this point I don't believe a damn word of these kind of accusations. They're far too easy to falsely make and get away with.

After witnessing his Livestream of the last debate sadly I'm not entirely surprised it seemed like he was spiraling, hope he gets his head straight, also hope (and lacking evidence otherwise assume) whatever happened was on the lower end of the scale. He used to talk about how he couldn't do drugs anymore because his synapses were fried and it makes him crazy and he looked absolutely baked during that last debate stream, he's also been sloppy in his analysis since then.

In my country(New Zealand) you can be arrested and removed from the house you paid for if you are male, even if you call the police on your female partner. Even if she is on meds for "anger management". Living with a woman is worse(legally) than taking your hard earned cash and rolling it all on red at blackjack.
My point is that we cannot make any kind of assumptions until we know more, and also look at the information with a critical eye.

He made comments about loving women too much and it getting him into trouble, or more sexually explicit comments (I’ll spare you those details). Those comments were made in videos in the couple weeks leading up to the boob grabbing stream. The boob grabbing incident was streamed on RUclips and probably also on Rumble. He took the stream down the next morning.

I did jury duty and it was a domestic battery case. All it involved was a boyfriend pushing his girlfriend and her filing charges.
As a rule, whenever a right-of-center content creator is accused of something like this, I don't believe it. We've seen this happen too many times now, false accusations ruining people's lives. Presumption of innocence has to mean something - don't fall for this.

Guy clearly had something going on the last few weeks. Streaming while zooted out of his mind, showing up with some girl that was not his wife, rapid location changes, deflecting all questions about it, etc... I'd be inclined to believe some sort of messiness did indeed occur, whether on his end or hers. Real question is was it the girlfriend or the wife?
Very unfortunate as a long time Styx viewer, though i am not surprised. I noticed a change in his behavior when he abruptly returned to America without his wife or child. He's been on a downward spiral since. The past few months he's been becoming increasingly unhinged, focusing less on analysis during streams, making lewd comments that were more creepy than amusing, and just overall weirdness. I stopped watching him after the last presidential debate because he seemed incoherent and drunk. I've seen enough people destroy their lives with alcohol, i didn't need to see another, and now we're here. Mind you, thats speculation on my part. But a spade is a spade.
I hope he finds it within himself to get help with whatever has lead him down this path.

I have been around Styx since before politics. Since 2007 when he primarily spoke about esoteric topics. I can't see Styx being involved in any serious domestic issue. He is rather mild tempered. Now I do know that neighbors can cause domestic charges. Who knows, but DV charges can range from serious to ridiculous. I can tell you the ladies in his life have caused many problems. He seems to cultivate problematic women
