*1)* The only place I couldn't pinpoint was the Wedding Courtyard from "The Avatar and the Fire Lord" episode. My best guess is that it either used to be located at the entrance of the Royal Caldera City, or is on a different crater or island altogether. Visualized: i.imgur.com/3hxGPAP.png *2)* It has always bothered me how the shots of the Royal Palace didn't show any space for gardens. I realized while making this video that the gardens are actually located outside of the palace grounds to the southwest. *3)* The lakes are referred to as "Queen and her Daughters" in The Shadow of Kyoshi.
Thank you for all you’ve done for the avatar community. I know I’m not the only one who’s imagination has been stolen by your amazing illustrations throughout the kyoshi novels. Keep up the incredible work
0:02 Personally I think the place where Zuko hired Combustion man, is that area on the right side of the map. Of curse I could be wrong. I'm basing it on a bit from the old website bio. "Located between the Capital City crater and the harbor, this area supplies metal to build tanks, warships, and weapons." I guess it's kind of vague.
How big do you think the Fire Nation Capital is? How long it it take to walk from Harbor city to the Royal Palace and how long would it take to go from one end to the other end. Looks fairly small but that’s gotta be atleast 300k people in that city.

But, there is also a secret river unde the palace.. :D
it's kind of a shame that we never got to see the fire nation during Korra's time, but at least Zuko & Iroh was part of the story.
Thanks for everything you do for the avatar community🥰
6:33 I didn't realize you could actually see the royal palace behind the coronation temple. That's really some coherent world building.

Now looking at this really makes me think about how they could just earth bend their way around the siege.
