Right? You’ve got a ten album run with Prince, Dirty Mind, Controversy, 1999, Purple Rain, ATWIAD, Parade, SOTT, Lovesexy, and Batman. It’s ridiculous!
Bonus (my opinion) - Elton John (Tumbleweed Connection - Goodbye Yellow Brick Road), Prince (1999 - Sign O' The Times), Queen (Sheer Heart Attack - Jazz), Kanye West (The College Dropout - My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy), Michael Jackson (Off The Wall - HIStory)
You could start anywhere from Greetings to Tunnel and have a great 5 album run. This list was doing ok from 20-11, but then became a prog rock/metal nightmare. Radiohead’s The Bends is better than any of those listed and other than Beatles and Stevie Wonder, disappointed by top 10, but each to their own 😂
@@tfmajka13I think Lucky Town is great. If he’d recorded the best few tracks from Human Touch and Lucky Tow n as 1 album, with the EStreet Band, it would be thought of as a classic.
The College Dropout Late Registration Graduation 808s & Heartbreak My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy 😌👀😎 Great video once again my friend. Joni still has Ladies of the Canyon, SIX ALBUM RUN!! What a queen. Kendrick is a living legend. Perfect discography so far. TPAB and GKMC are solid 10s. His least great album, in my opinion, is Section.80. It's still a solid 8/10 IMO. Insane. Can you imagine if Meddle was made after Obscured by Clouds? MEDDLE-TDSOTM-WYWH-ANIMALS-THE WALL 💯💯💯💯💯
@videosbaisam What do you think about Kanye's music? Really want to know your opinion! I'm pretty sure you don't enjoy it a lot 🤣 but is there any album or song you like from him? You put Kendrick in the top 10 in this video (deservedly imo) knowing that your viewers and subscribers are mostly into rock. Nothing wrong with having rock as your favorite genre, but I admire your musical taste. How do you rank Kendrick's albums by the way? IMO: GKMC > TPAB > Mr. Morale > DAMN > Section.80 And yeah as far as Pink Floyd goes, I agree. Meddle is perfect, one of my overall favorites. Sorry about all these questions. Thank you for your patience and I hope the channel keeps growing!!! 😎
@@mariobarros1608 I haven't listened to much of Kanya outside of the big hits. I know a lot of people who listen to him but I never got into him, and it feels to late to get in now after the NAZI stuff. For Kendrick I would say I rank them the same a you except swap Damn and Section 80. I love how raw and vicious he sounds on Section80. Thanks for the support!
I'm assuming you're keeping Man who sold the world, Hunky Dory , Ziggy and Aladin Sane for the 9 album run? and Blonde on Blonde and John Wesley Harding for the 7? Thanks for posting, good conversation amongst a certain demographic
Steely Dan could’ve been higher but THANK YOU for leaving off Aja, still an amazing album but SOOOOO overrated also I know Yes is on a bunch of your other lists, shocked to see them not here, Time and a Word, Yes Album, Fragile, Close to the Edge and Tales of Topographic oceans (it’s a shame that Relayer was the very next album instead of before tales because I think that would be a MUCH stronger 5 album run)
The Joni Mitchell one is jaw-dropping. I'd have picked a different 5 album stretch for Bowie, but that only shows his quality as an artist. The Stones could have easily made it in with Beggars Banquet to Goats' Head Soup. And I know we're all relunctant to give Kanye the kind of praise he used to get... but College Dropout to MBDTF also easily makes it in.
Obviously The Beatles at No.1 Anything else would have been ridiculous, but Genesis should have been No.2. Nursery Cryme through to Trick Of The Tail is a crazily good run of albums.
Idk man, Stevie’s run and Pink Floyd’s run in the 70s are ridiculous and unmatched in their own right, I’d have a hard time putting Genesis (or anyone for that fact) above them When Paul Simon thanks you in his speech for not putting anything out that year so he can win album of the year, that’s when you know you have achieved absurdly high quality output
I actually would do foxtrot-wind and Wuthering (I adore nursery crime but I LOVE wind and Wuthering, it's my 3rd fav genesis album after SEBTP and foxtrot)

I would have put Led Zeppelin at #1, and Supertramp would be up there with Crime, Crisis, Quietest Moments, Breakfast, and Famous Last Words. The Eagles would be #2 with Desperado, On the Border, One Of These Nights, Hotel California, and The Long Run. The Beach Boys, Metallica, ELO, Van Halen, CCR, Queen, U2, perhaps the Rolling Stones would be on my list as well, but still a pretty good list regardless.
i don't understand how prince is always missing from this kind of lists

Queen had to be in there - Queen II, Sheer Heart Attack, A Night at the Opera, A Day at the Races and News of the World.
I love Queen but I normally finds there albums a little lacking as a whole compared to other bands
No Billy Joel?
The Who Sell Out; Tommy; Who’s Next; Quadrophenia; The Who By Numbers.
eh, those middle 3 are great, but I don't think sell out and by numbers are very remarkable
Freewheelin over Blonde on Blonde?
Yes
Some good ones here!
Thank you for recognizing the greatness of Stevie Wonder's 5 in a row!
Thank you for appreciating Simon & Garfunkel
Incredibly solid output for how little time they were together
The Moody Blues, Mott The Hoople and Michael Jackson excluded but Kenny Lamar and Surfin Stevens included? No Grand Funk? Luther Vandross?
I think you forgot Bruce Springsteen:
Born to Run
Darkness on the Edge of Town
The River
Nebraska
Born in the USA
He's more like a seven album run, with his first two albums. But he certainly should be here
You could start anywhere from Greetings to Tunnel and have a great 5 album run.

@moonmoo7 agreed. I like Lucky Town too and would also include it in Bruce's run of quality albums. Not Human Touch though.

That might be said of some of their later albums, but not these early Queen albums of the 70s with some real classics among them.
Billy Joel: Turnstiles, The Stranger, 52nd Street, Glass Houses, The Nylon Curtain. All are at least an 8.5/10
The College Dropout

Fragile
Close to the Edge
