This video is not the whole thing. In the episode they got two owners with dogs who don’t get along with other people and other dogs and who wanted to be able to date other people. So they paired them up and this guy was one of them. The other owner is not shown in this short video, but Victoria helped her with her dog as well and at the end of the day her and this guy hung out with each other with their dogs without them getting aggressive. That’s probably why his friend (the blonde woman) said what she said. They probably told her to specifically say “a gf with a dog” (obviously referring to the other dog owner” for the dramatic effect or sth.
