Perfect! Thanks for not having a rambling explanation. I can do this!!!!
I usually can't stand instructional videos with words but wow I love this one keep up the good work
Sorry. I don’t understand the 2 needles. Do you thread a needle on each side of the same thread and then pull halfway through?
I made a bag after watching this video from the embossed boa hide, and it turned out really well!! Now I adapt the instructions for various sizes. Awesome video - thanks.
This is beautiful...sweet and easy!!! Loved it.
I love that ribbon idea for the handles! might have to give that a try!
Thank you for sharing the knowledge, great idea.
I love Tandy for supplies when I make stuff at the upholstery shop too.:P
Thank you, nice and clear explanation‼️
Very good video. Gave me the motivation I needed. Thanks

Terima kasih sudah berbagi. God bless. Greetings from Indonesia 💟
Thank you for sharing. Just what I wanted to learn. I am watching your videos in Delhi India, going to grab some leather today. Thank you so so much.
Amazing!!
I watch your classes here in Brazil.
Thanks for simple and clear demonstration. Well done
Amazing 👍
Wonderful job! Continue with the tutorial videos. I'm learning a lot. Thank you.
Beautiful
You could probably use this technique to make a simple messenger bag - make one "side" of the bag twice and long and use the excess to form the overlap
Nossa são lindas amei parabéns vô fazer.
Hermosa esa cartera me enamore
Look so easy to me 👜👜👜👜👜
But I need to take this class , so I can be pro 😍😍😍😍😍
Thank you do much 😘😘
Thanks for this. Great video! Is there a rule for the size hole you punch in the leather for the thickness of the waxed thread? Also how do you select thread thickness for leather weight when hand sewing?
You have such a patience
Can you please Tell what is that "silicone" and used to finish leather /fake leather?
Interesting!
Linda!!!!!!!👏👏👏👏👏👏
Thanks for the vid!
what size hole punch did you do?
Thank you so much for a clear instructions. I have a few questions : how many inches from the edge for the handles and rivets? Can I make the tote firmer by using some type of stiffer? Thank you for sharing and your skills 🥰🙏✨
جميل جدا شكرا لك على الفيديو
Waaaaaaw

This is great - would love to see a technique for the handles for the brown bag at 7:20
Here is a great book for hand sewing www.tandyleather.com/en/product/the-art-of-hand-sewing-leather-book.
The stitch you are looking for is the baseball stitch, page 47 :)

hola de chile me encanto su trabajo
Muchas Gracias
Nice. Weird switching between measurements though
Garrincha!
What size bag does this end up becoming? It seems small but I need it on a person for a reference. Looking to" make a 11"Hx12"Wx5"D finished product.
This bag will be about 12"x 9", however you can modify this pattern to fit your desired size.
@@TandyLeatherCo If you modify the pattern sizes for height/width, would you need to adjust those square cutouts that end up being the bottom of the bag, or is that measurement strictly up to your preference for how deep you want the bottom?
Wonder Craftsmanship! Why does it say ," Same Pattern" but of the various ones shown, the white fur one has a fold over top please? Thanks A Million!
Same pattern, one would just leave the excess leather from the sheep skin to create a natural flap.
Thanks A Million; and God Bless Your Perpetual Success!
Would it not be better to use a rotary knife with this material instead of a utility knife?? In my experience the rotary knife doesn’t pull the material along with you causing jagged edges like the utility knife does with thin materials.
Personal preference for most people, but yes, the thinner leathers are safer to cut with a rotary. We have found most people chose a thicker leather when making this bag, so we chose just one knife for this project.
hi, what oz is the leather your using here?
Aloha! How long does it take to make one bag? Approximately?
This bag took about three hours to make!
@@TandyLeatherCogreat job! I'm looking to design a project and need a pattern maker. Can I messenger you?
@@diakydiaz Yes of course, here is a link to find a store in your area! bit.ly/3bUq6yM
Please what height do you use?
We recommend a range from as low as 2 ounces, up to 6 ounces!

Why does it say 18x24 inches but the holes are measured in centimeters? You should know us dumb Americans cant figure out the metric system lol. Nice job and thanks for posting this
